Pros:

I stayed at the Mareta Beach Boutique Hotel in Sagres, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel has a very relaxed, stylish boutique vibe, simple, yet tastefully designed.
One of the highlights is the stunning infinity pool with a million-dollar view over the ocean. What made it even better was that the pool is heated, which is especially important when traveling in April.
The location is good, just a short and pleasant walk from Mareta Beach, Tonel Beach, and the iconic Cabo de São Vicente lighthouse. The whole area has a laid-back, slightly hippie atmosphere that makes it feel unique and authentic.
Sagres Fortress is also nearby, where I was pleasantly surprised by a modern and beautifully designed museum. The museum shop was charming, and the views are absolutely breathtaking.

Pros:

Very basic hotel in a great location, right across from Salema Beach. The breakfast was fairly simple, and overall the hotel felt a bit dated and lacked some charm, but it was enough for a one-night stay. Sleeping with the balcony door open and listening to the sound of the ocean was definitely the highlight.
