Outstanding. Would definitely stay against.
Pros:

Fabulous hotel! Excellent facilities right in the heart of town. We were there during festival and it was so much fun. The pool was amazing. The breakfast was diverse and tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful. They assisted with setting up our tours and taxis. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location but not a 4-star standard
Pros:

Location - The hotel is right in the middle of the city and very convenient for all local amenities, which are walkable. The room was fairly spacious.

Cons:

This is not really a hotel of a 4-star standard. Reception is not 24/7, and even during the hours of operation, it is often empty. Breakfast was of a very mediocre standard, with rubber-like pre-cooked scrambled eggs, overcooked sausage and a meagre selection of charcuterie. The breakfast attendant was akin to a dragon - that, plus the food quality, made us forsake breakfast from day two, and instead we found a local coffee shop to sustain us. Our room was generally clean, but the quality of pillows, bed linen and towels was not of a 4-star hotel. For a couple of days of our stay, our room was not cleaned at all. The safe in our room was miniscule - barely big enough to hold our passports. We ended up locking our other valuables in our suitcase... The pool water was cold, so the pool is unusable really, unless one is into cold water swimming. Overall, although we will return to Santa Maria, we are unlikely to return to Charming Blue.

Ik denk een van de betere hotels op Santa Maria
Pros:

Mooie zaak met rustig zwembad en midden in het dorp.

Cons:

Geen wandel of fietsroutes beschikbaar in het hotel. Receptie verwees je door naar gegidste toeren.

This was our third stay at Charming Blue. We love the attention each guest gets from the staff. We are always made to feel special

We had no complaints. The only thing missing was Sangria for my wife

Comfortabel genieten in Vila do Porto.
Pros:

Charming Blue is een comfortabele uitvalsbasis voor je verblijf op Santa Maria. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en de kamers zijn ruim. De bedden zijn goed, de badkamer heeft een fijne douche. Het ontbijt is gevarieerd en voorziet in een goed begin van de dag. Het was een plezierige ervaring mijn wandelvakantie te starten en te eindigen in Charming Blue.
