Pros:

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, was wir zwecks Regen in Richtung Riga genommen haben. Grosser Parkplatz für Motorrad. Das Abendessen war hervorragend. Das Zimmer war ein Gedicht. Wir hatten uns sehr wohlgefühlt, und waren froh das der Regen gekommen ist. Das Frühstück war sehr ausreichend aufgefüllt.

Schönes Hotel um Schloss Jelgava und die Stadt zu besuchen.
Pros:

Schönes Hotel mit eigenem Parkplatz. Man muss der Ausschilderung folgen, dann findet man das Hotel auch mit dem Auto. Das Hotel liegt direkt neben Schloss Jelgava. Frühstücksbüffet war ausgezeichnet.

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage, Frühstück war nur mittelmäßig
Pros:

Dieses Hotel lässt noch etwas von seiner früheren Größe erahnen, es hat etwas königliches an sich, so als ob es immer das 1. Haus am Platz dieser Stadt war. Es ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber man merkt an der doch sehr hochwertigen Ausstattung, dass es zu einer nobleren Kategorie gehört. An den Wänden sind Brokattapeten und es gibt schwere Vorhänge, ebenfalls aus Brokatstoffen. Im Zimmer gibt es Holzmöbel und viele Verzierungen, die eindeutig nicht dem minimalistischen modernen Stil entsprechen. Wir finden sogar eine handgeschriebene Willkommenskarte am Zimmer und eine große Flasche Wasser. Alles ist sauber und adrett, die Dusche braucht zwar eine Weile bis das Wasser heiß ist, aber die Regendusche ist super und der Wasserdruck gut.
Es gibt im Hof des Hotels einen kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz, der durch einen Schranken gesichert ist.
Das Restaurant/Bar des Hotels ist auf Google sehr gut bewertet und wir haben dort wirklich großartig zu Abend gegessen.

Cons:

Das Zimmer und besonders das Bad sind etwas klein, es gibt im Bad auch keinerlei Ablagefläche.
Leider wirkt sich der kulinarische Genuß des Abendessens nicht aufs Frühstück aus, das hauptsächlich aus abgepackten Sachen besteht. Der Kaffee ist ungenießbar und schmeckt wie Spülwasser - wir haben uns an den Tee gehalten. Auch gibt es nur abgepackte Fruchtjoghurts und kein Naturjoghurt, die Säfte sind nur Fruchtnektare aus der Packung und die Pancakes und Spiegeleier kommen ziemlich sicher aus einem Sack aus dem Großhandel. Das Hotel würde ich wieder buchen, weil es wirklich ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bietet. Es gibt keine Rate ohne Frühstück, ansonsten könnte man sich das echt sparen.
