Das gastfreundliche Hotel überzeugt durch seine zentrale Lage. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist zentral im Ort Hollum gelegen. Von hier aus ist alles sehr gut zu erreichen. Im Hotel selbst gibt es ein Restaurant. Hier haben wir auch einmal zu Abend gegessen, die Auswahl ist überschaubar - die Qualität der geboten Speisen ist aber gut. Die Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen laden außerdem zu einem kühlen Getränk am Nachmittag oder auch Abend ein. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und umfänglich. Die Besitzer und auch die Mitarbeiterinnern und Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Wir wurden rechtzeitig vor Antritt der Reise informiert, dass unser gebuchtes Zimmer im Erdgeschoss nicht verfügbar sein wird. Alternativ hat man uns auf ein Zimmer im Obergeschoss mit Balkon umgebucht. Darüber hinaus haben wir eine Entschädigung seitens des Hotels erhalten (Kostenloses Kinderbett und Frühstück für den 1. Reisetag). Das fanden wir sehr positiv. Leider war das Zimmer jedoch nur durch eine steile Treppe zu erreichen, dies ist gerade als Familie mit einem kleinen Kind und entsprechendem Gepäck etwas schwierig. Die Zimmer an sich sind recht einfach gehalten und bedürfen eine Modernisierung. Man merkt aber, dass die (noch rechten neuen) Besitzer bemüht sind Stück für Stück immer etwas zu erneuern.

De kamer is niet groot, maar bevat precies genoeg voor 1 persoon. In en uitloop ook buiten de openingstijden is makkelijk. Restaurant dik in orde, reserveren 4 personen gewenst. Ontbijt ook prima.

Very cozy room even if small (I was alone so got the small single room), with everything I needed in it. Also, almost the entire ceiling was a skylight (which could also be open) so a lot of light. Very clean. Staff always smiling and nice. Breakfast diverse and more than enough for me (presented as a small custom buffet for me, not a shared buffet for more, but I was the only one having breakfast at that time so I don't know if this is how it is always done). No noise from the other rooms in my experience (there seemed to be some noise isolation though it was not specified in the facilities section) but whatever happens on the hallway is very audible (did not bother me, there are only a few rooms anyway, it's a small hotel).

Cons:

Pillow could have been softer, ended up using one of the provided cushions which was way smaller but way softer and more relaxing.
