Please note that from September until May southwest road access to Geiranger from RV 63 Route may be closed due to the weather. Access is still possible on RV 63 from the north. Please contact the property for more information.
The hotel does not accept group bookings. When booking more than 6 rooms, please contact the hotel directly. Bookings of more than 6 rooms, may be canceled unless confirmed directly with the property.
The hotel is currently expanding, and there is an ongoing building proccess that will finish in October 2023. We therefore kindly inform that there will be some ongoing construction work around the hotel during the summer season. Most of the labor will happen inside the neighboring building and we believe that this will not be so disturbing for our staying guests. We are working close with the carpenters that the few "noisy" jobs will be done in the middle of the day, between check-out and check-in, when the hotel is as empty as possible, however we have taken this in consideration in terms of room prices until the work is finished. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Location, location, location. This is a beautiful place a bit away from the centre of town with a great view of the first bend of the fjord.
The hotel felt new and fresh. There were some activities on offer, like kayaking and sauna. Parking was plentiful and included. The breakfast the best we had for two weeks.
Staff was also very friendly and helpful even when we had one quite unusual question. We also arrived a bit early and were allowed an early check-in. Thank you!
The downside of the location is that you either walk on the car road into town or you drive amd search for parking there. Though I saw a mention of a shuttle as well, which would indeed be practical.
This was, for us, the most expensive hotel on our trip, but that's just something you need to consider when booking. And this is a popular and touristy part of the country.
However, the three-course dinner was clearly overpriced for what was served and it was served oddly fast. The first course and dessert were good but the trout in between was dry and soulless in a way I'd expect from a canteen, not this kind of place.
I would definitely stay here again but I would have my dinner elsewhere.

The location is mind-blowing..overlooking the Gairangier fjord..very easy to reach..Breakfast is super good.

We loved everything about the property. Staff were so helpful, our room was perfect and had a balcony viewing the fjord. Restaurant, activities and hot tub were a perfect addition

- wir mussten zweimal das Zimmer wechseln wegen starkem Geruch nach Kloake im Badezimmer. In einem Hotel dieser Preisklasse nicht akzeptabel! Wir haben dann ein billigeres Zimmer bekommen, ein Upgrade wurde nicht angeboten. Die Preisdifferenz zwischen den Zimmern wurde nicht erstattet.
- wir haben darum gebeten unser E-Auto aufladen zu können, dies wurde uns an der Rezeption versprochen. Es wurde sich nicht die Zimmernummer notiert oder unser Name aufgeschrieben. Wir sollten einfach immer mal wieder schauen ob ein E-Parkplatz frei geworden ist. Was ist denn das für ein Service???? Ich möchte Urlaub machen und nicht die ganze Zeit schauen ob ein Parkplatz frei ist. Sehr enttäuschend war auch, dass uns mehrmals von der Rezeption versprochen wurde, dass wir unser Auto laden können und sie uns informieren werden. Wir haben keine Information erhalten, mussten dann aber am Abend feststellen, dass andere Gäste, die nach uns angekommen sind, plötzlich ihr Auto laden durften. Erst als wir zum vierten Mal unseren Unmut hierüber zum Ausdruck gebracht haben, hat es dann endlich funktioniert.

The breakfast and hot tub were the highlight. The view of the hot tub is just breathtaking. The breakfast was also so various and nice. Very much liked our stay.
Words cannot describe how peaceful, what a lovely hotel this is. The views are simply breathtaking, the hotel decor amazing, staff are super friendly, breakfast was really good ! I wouldn’t look anywhere else if I visited Geiranger again.
