Pros:

Great location and you can see the harbour from the living room. The outside courtyard would be great on a warm sunny day. The Kitchen was well appointed and got heaps of sun .

Cons:

A bit quirking but this added to the general nature and age of the building .

Pros:

The overall ambience. The close proximity torestaurants andthe waterfront. Good heating.

Cons:

No ashelf or salad drawer in the fridge. Net curtains in the lounge would have been nice. A washing machine would have been nice. No access to pantry. No wardrobe or draeers in the second bedroom.

Loved it. People looked jealous when we were entering our own little modern piece of history.
Pros:

Fantastic location in historic building in heart of Akaroa. So central to restaurants, the water, the pier.
Great facilities.
Stayed in shoulder season when things were relatively quiet.

Cons:

The TV set up was a bit tricky to unfamiliar eyes. So we just decided against using to everyone's advantage!
