Surfing Temple Boutique Hotel

We booked this hotel expecting a normal and safe stay, but unfortunately experienced a deeply disturbing incident involving one of the hotel’s staff members.

My girlfriend was naked and showering in the bathroom when she discovered that a hotel employee was peeping through a hole/opening in the shower area.

Imagine being completely naked in what you believe is the privacy of your hotel room, only to discover that a member of the hotel staff is watching you. It was extremely disturbing, frightening, and violating.

We immediately reported the incident to the hotel and the police.

Because of what happened, my girlfriend no longer felt comfortable or safe staying at the property. We had to leave, and as a result, we missed our scheduled flight and had to rearrange important plans and commitments back home. What should have been a normal trip turned into an extremely stressful experience that disrupted our plans and caused significant inconvenience.

The biggest issue here is not the room, the facilities, or the usual hotel-service complaints. It is the fact that a hotel employee was looking at a naked guest while she was showering. Guests should be able to expect complete privacy in their own hotel bathroom.

We hope the hotel takes this incident seriously and reviews its staff, security, and procedures to make sure that no other guest has to experience something like this.

I would strongly advise future guests to be aware of what happened before deciding to stay here.

Le petit déjeuner est bon mais le service beaucoup trop lent. Le personnel est sur son téléphone au lieu de vous servir. Par ailleurs, on nous a demandé de payer le montant d’une réparation sur un scooter que vous avions loué alors qu’il était intacte, c’était uniquement pour essayer de récupérer un peu d’argent.

The room smelled disinfection or bugs spray everyday. The road is very bumpy so tuktuk drivers want extra.

Nouas avons tout aimé ! Le personnel adorable etait au petit soin et l endroit est magnifique.

- Pool seating is uncomfortable and too low. Would be made improved with some more plush seating in pool area.
- Property is off the beaten track, expect to walk down uneven dirt track. Personally this was not an issue for us and contributed to the rustic, relaxing vibe this place had, just not appropriate for someone with reduced mobility.

Tricky road to get to the property which some drivers don’t like going down (easy to walk though!)

Habia alguna zona como alrededor de la piscina que no estaba del todo bien mantenida y por el precio que se pagaba (vs otros alojamientos) esperas que si. El dia que nos ibamos (era algo temprano, tipo 6.30AM) no consiguieron darnos el desayuno porque no habia nadie. Igualmente, una estancia muy buena y recomendable.

Peaceful and quiet. Excellent service and friendly staff. I would love to come and stay in this hotel again.

Le chemin pour accéder à l'hôtel est rude à pratiquer en scooter (des gros nids de poules qui forment de grosses flaques d'eau) mais ça fait partie du charme et c'est le prix à payer. Le plancher autour de la piscine est en mauvais état, on a vu une cliente tomber au travers (rien de grave tout de même).
