Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would still recommend the hotel for a short layover in Doha.
Pros:

We stayed at Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha for a short overnight layover. The hotel itself was excellent, with comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a smooth check in.

Cons:

We were disappointed that the complimentary airport transfer included in our booking, and one of the main reasons we chose this hotel for our layover, was unavailable due to the situation in the Middle East. While we understand that the circumstances were beyond the hotel’s control, the only alternative offered was a paid private transfer at our own expense. As the complimentary transfer was part of the original booking, we had expected an equivalent solution rather than an additional cost.
