Flawed gem
Pros:

Difficult to review as we were the only guests in the middle of a heat wave. This building was not built for heat, and the small portable air con did not cut it. The staff were also on minimal interest and did what was necessary when requested.
That being said, the hotel has a superb position in the citadel, and is itself an amazing building.

Cons:

Staying there was not particularly enjoyable- hot stuffy room and diffident staff

E o poveste de vis.Ne-am cazat in ziua de naștere a soției mele si va pun poza ce am găsit in camera! Ni s-a oferit un foișor separat pentru cina. A fost nespus de plăcut !
Geamul a ieșit spre fortăreața, dar in genere, amplasarea hotelului înăuntru unei cetăți medievale e o mare raritate.NU ratați! Totul la câțiva pași! Biserica Domneasca, muzeul Unirii, sala Unirii, Monumentul lui Mihai Viteazul etc. Personalul foarte receptiv

The building is just amazing.

Cons:

The breakfast was very bad for the level of the hotel. Very few options, not good coffee and terrible juices... We had much better breakfasts in 3 stars hotels this week.

Un lieu exceptionnel, le bâtiment est magnifiquement rénové. On est en plein centre de l'histoire. La court est superbe. Le personnel au top. Un vrai plaisir :)

Cons:

Le petit dejeuner est assez pauvre, et peu de produits de qualite. Pas de jus de fruits lors de la deuxieme visite (le 14 juillet! 2026).Et la premiere fois, jus brasse en bocal, peu de fruits alors que l'on est dans un 5 etoile et en ete, il devrait y avoir des pasteques, melons etc, mais que des pommes Les yaourts sont zuzu ou danone, Un peu de charcuterie, rien de top!

Komme gerne wieder! Toller Ort!
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt absolut zentral in einem historischen Gebäude. Großzügig, ruhig, große Zimmer. Deren historizistischer Einrichtungsstil ist Geschmacksache ;). Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter waren ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und freundlich.
Spektakulär ist, wenn man im Garten vor dem Speisesaal frühstücken kann. Eine Oase von Stille und Natur mitten in der Stadt.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war okay. Aber nichts Außergewöhnliches.

Pros:

Exceptional room design amazing location and staff.

Cons:

We didn't have hot water on the first day. Also the tub in the room and the way the shower is installed it flooded the floor every time we showered. Very hot in the summer with basic ventilation.
