ideale Lage an der Brücke
Pros:

Erstklassige Lage direkt an der zwar nicht echten, aber berühmten Brücke am Kwai. Dem Preis und Standard entsprechende Zimmer mit Balkon und bester Aussicht auf den Fluß.
Sehr ordentliche Gastronomie samt 7/11 in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Ausgesprochen freundliche und unerwartet informative Damen an der Reception. Selbst als erfahrener Reisender erhält man dort bemerkenswert exakte Informationen und wirklich gute Tipps. Das erlebt man nicht so oft. Auch die Vermittlung eines ganz hervorragenden Fahrers hat klaglos geklappt.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind etwas "kahl", was aber in diesem Teil der Welt weder überraschend noch wirklich störend ist. Vor allem, da es durch die leistungsfähige AC wettgemacht wird. Die allgemeinen Teile des Hotels sind ebenfalls nicht aufregend. Brauchen wir aber auch nicht.
