Wonderful location and beautiful, modern decoration. Breakfast was fabulous and staff very attentive. I loved the delicious welcome mezcal and the staff was very helpful in various ways. The courtyard is stunning, and decor for Day of the Dead was really playful and fun! Such a quiet hotel in the middle of the action!
The bathroom could have used a deep cleaning. The walls were very large but sparsely decorated in the room. They were beckoning for some of that beautiful Oaxacsn art and color to adorn them.
Staff and location of the hotel were excellent. Everything is within a 15 minute walk, although many things are 5-10mins away. Also, other helpful things are nearby too (pharmacies, bus lines, ATM's, courtyards, etc.).
AC also worked well, the breakfast was good, quick and convenient, and staff helped arrange taxi services to the airport (since Uber isn't popular and Didi only had a moto taxi option).
Although it's a bit dated in the rooms, the staff was some of the best i've encountered - even comparable to luxury hotels. We'll miss them, and our stay there.
All of the staff was amazing. Extreeemely attentive, sincere, helpful, and hard working. I'd stay here again just because how pleasant they all were. They always madr sure we were taken care of and did little extras that they didn't have to do.
If being picky, the pillows were a bit firm and too large, but that's just personal preference.

Everything was great for a visit to Oaxaca City. The location is superb, room was very nice, breakast the best in town, and the staff kind and interested in helping in anyway they could.
It's located on the primary pedestrian street so loading and unloading luggage is a bit harder than in other locations but the hotel staff is available to help with the logistics.
The location of the hotel is great. It was clean and the staff are nice and welcoming.
This is NOT a 4 star hotel. The cheap furniture, the cold white fluorescent lamps, the old towels and the amenities in the hotel none match a 4 star hotel. This is at best a 2 star hotel so set your expectations accordingly.
The rooms don't have windows opening to the outside. You can't leave the window open or someone can simply walk into your room.
Breakfast was very good every day. There was a nice selection to create variety.
My wife is as picky as picky gets and she loved it. Clean and spacious. Location of bring excellent. Closer to everything. Ultimately the people that work there make it ça work week e. Very good staff

It’s in a good location within walking distance to a lot of places. The breakfast was very good, honestly some of the best food we had during our stay. And the staff were super nice and helpful. The door is locked at night and you have to knock, but we missed that instruction and walked to the cafe next door after trying to open it, and a staff member walked out to find and help us. Rafael served us during breakfast and he was super nice and friendly.
Located in the center of the city, facing the main street, Calle Alcala. Very convenient for going to various places.
The room was quite spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served on the terrace and there were several menus to choose from.
There was no elevator, but that's normal for hotels in Oaxaca.
This hotel is a gem, located on a pedestrian-only street, easy walking to tons of restaurants and tourist locations. The continental breakfast of fresh bread choices, fresh fruit, juice and coffee filled us up for a good start to the day. The rooms are spacious. The staff is really nice and helpful, arranging drivers and helping with any questions. The artist's gallery and pieces in the rooms, tons of plants and fun hanging decorations in the central restaurant all add to the cool atmosphere.
The staff were so lovely. The room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The room was quiet and dark at night. The hotel was well-situated. The breakfast was perfect for me - coffee, fresh fruit and pastry. Enough to get the day going and still allow room to explore other food options.
