Posto stupendo!
Un’oasi ; un paradiso!
Se cercate un posto non turistico, dove godervi il mare e la natura questo è il top! Casa pulita, colazione buona e personale gentile
The staff was very friendly, especially Adrian who was always helpful and answered all our questions. The food was also very good.
What I didn’t like was that there was no AC. We were informed before booking, which was appreciated, but we expected the room to stay cool because of the way it’s built. Unfortunately, it was still very hot and we couldn’t really relax in the room.
La verdad es un lugar maravilloso, tranquilo, relajado, muy cómodo y agradable. Ha Sido un verdadero placer nuestra estancia.
POSIZIONE ECCELLENTE E OTTIMA CUCINA

Me gustó todo. Es un lugar hermoso y con mucha tranquilidad.
No se me ocurre nada.
The location is arguably the best in El Cuyo — close enough to walk to restaurants and the heart of town, yet tucked away enough to feel genuinely peaceful and quiet. (A small note for fellow travelers: during Semana Santa there is noticeably more traffic, including four-wheelers, so that seclusion becomes especially valuable — and Casa Mía delivers it.)
The property itself is simple and authentic, unpretentious yet deeply comfortable, decorated with impeccable taste. We stayed in the penthouse and were treated to a breathtaking 360° view spanning the beach on one side and the jungle on the other — the kind of view you find yourself staring at long after you thought you'd gotten used to it.
We booked the entire property for our family, and it genuinely felt like staying at a beloved family vacation home — one that happened to come with outstanding service. Every morning, a long communal table was set with an abundant spread of fresh food and home-baked pastries alongside great coffee. At lunch, the same generous spirit: fresh ceviche, salads, honest and delicious food. Nothing felt performative or hotel-like. It felt like someone actually cared.
That someone is Marco, the owner, who was present throughout our stay — attentive, warm, and clearly invested in making sure every detail was right. His staff matched his energy completely: gracious, helpful, and genuinely happy to assist in any way.
Casa Mía also has its own kitesurf school, run by Nick and Tina, who are magnificent instructors. They were patient and enthusiastic with the kids, spending real time teaching them — and by the end of the trip, watching the little ones actually kitesurfing was one of the highlights of the whole vacation.
El Cuyo itself is a gem — a place we fell completely in love with. But a huge part of that love came from where we stayed. Whether you're traveling solo, as a couple, with friends, or with the whole family, Casa Mía is simply the place. It will make your time in El Cuyo everything it should be. This is probably one of the best places we have ever stayed at and I cannot wait to go back.
Hard to find any place left to get away from the noise of the world in every sense, but Casa Mia delivered -- and then some. From the moment we set foot on this pretty and well-designed property, we received a warm welcome from the staff and then later from Marco, the hotel owner. We stayed in the Suite, which is spacious and comfy with a nice terrace where we chilled out and watched the sun go down. The constant natural ocean breeze meant the room was always cool, dry, and airy. Breakfasts were yummy and always included fresh fruit, along with a chance to be social, or not, with other guests at this small property. Marco's a great host, always at the ready with information about El Cuyo and suggestions on things to see and do. As for the beach, which is a really short walk from the hotel, it was perfect for us and felt like one of the last stretches of paradise. Great for sunrise walks, paddle boarding, lounging, or just kicking back to watch kite surfers of all ages and levels. Stole my heart, can't wait to go back.
Cistota izby
Izba na prizemi, nedalo sa horne vetracie okienko zastriet, ludia co isli po schodisku videli nam na postel, nemohli sme mat vecer zasvietene svetlo, dost neprijemne, ranajky omeleta, prazenica, volske oko alebo bohaty ovocny tanier. Chladne veterne pocasie, co majitel nevedel ovplyvnit😁
Un lugar excepcional!!
This is a small hotel with unique spaces. I stayed in the ground floor which wasn’t the most expensive. Still it’s very good and clean and the breakfast is a quite custom made. I might say that staying a few days is better than one or two because you get used to the place. Don’t worry it doesn’t have air con . The fans and design of the rooms are good to suit off shore or on shore breeze. The hotel is very close to the beach also. The owners Make you feel at home and the guys who work here look happy
and nourished.
It is has most bases covered if you like a friendly place to stay.
