Pros:

Shower was amazing, the room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Overnight stop to break up the journey
Pros:

Pub atmosphere was great, staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Breakfast was basic, but unexpected and helped get the day started.

Cons:

A hairdryer would have been nice, I didn't have one because most places supply them now.
The shower rose had a wide spray so I couldn't see which container was the shampoo because the water was everywhere. There was plenty of hot water though so it was a good shower otherwise. The other bathrooms have been updated so I guess that one is next.

Excellent hospitality
Pros:

On the H1 but we did not hear any noise. We stayed in an ensuited king room which also had two single beds, separate toilet to our shower room. Great wifi, a conti breakfast for guests available with plenty of options in the hotel dining room but we did not have breakfast. The owners and staff were great, friendly country people. Lunch and dinner available in the hotel’s dining room or bar area. Our meal was delicious. Would stay again if we were travelling on the H1 and needed an overnight stay.

Pros:

Am Abend ist das Essen im Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen! Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut, die Betten bequem. Das Frühstück mit Kaffee und Toast oder Müsli jederzeit verfügbar. Sehr sehr nettes Personal.

Cons:

Die Fenster sind nicht sehr schalldicht, aber es war am Wochenende ruhig auf der Straße.

Lovely friendly staff, exceptionally clean and comfy room. Food was good and we got to watch the food challenge up close. I can see why this place is so popular.
