Perfect
Pros:

I’ve had my fair share of travelling across Europe, and I’ve always been drawn to agrotourism and boutique hotels when I’m looking for somewhere to truly relax. Yet, of all the places I’ve stayed, none has impressed me quite like Quinta de Santo António.

Being Portuguese, there’s something incredibly special about discovering places like this. It reminds you why the North of Portugal is so unique.

It’s not just the breathtaking views, the beautiful rooms, or how impeccably clean everything is. It’s the calmness and genuine friendliness of the staff — from the restaurant team to the housekeeping ladies. Everyone seems to be in a good mood, happy to help, with a smile in every encounter.

And then there are the little things that make all the difference. After spending the whole day in the sun, I ended up with a terrible headache and, with all the pharmacies closed, the receptionist actually went and got me one of their Brufens. Who does that anymore? That small gesture said everything.

Our family of four felt genuinely welcomed and cared for from the moment we arrived. And that’s something you can’t manufacture.

Honestly, Northern Portugal still gets it right. The warmth of its people, the incredible food, the slower pace of life — I truly hope it never changes.

Quinta de Santo António, thank you for reminding us how special it is to feel at home while being away. ❤️

Foi a 2a vez que fiquei aqui e adorei! Simpatia de todos os funcionários, muito prestáveis e atenciosos. Quartos amplos, a cama é maravilhosa e o pequeno é muito bom! A piscina e todo o espaço envolvente é muito agradável. E a vista indescritível!

Cons:

Apenas de um dos dias ter acordado cpm o cortador/aspirador de relva mesmo por baixo/frente ao meu quarto. Sei que é preciso manter o espaço limpo e agradável mas acordar com este barulho não foi muito agradável, principalmente para quem vai a lazer e gostaria de descansar um pouco mais. Tirando isso, estava tudo perfeito!

O facto de ter uma zona de eventos junto ao alojamento retira tranquilidade e privacidade ao espaço.

All in all, staff were very helpful, food excellent and ambiance was first rate.
Pros:

The ambiance of the resort was a combination of old world charm and beautiful stone buildings with plenty of clean, comfortable, modern updates. The hillside setting and view from the infinity pool, hotel rooms and hotel bar was stunning.
The breakfast was outstanding - a gorgeous selection of fresh fruit, baked goods, cheeses and meats and eggs cooked as desired.
Rooms very comfortable and quiet.

Cons:

Sharing facilities with a big family celebration going on on first day - and with their lengthy photo sessions by the pool - was a little disrupting.
