Pros:

Kommt auf jeden Fall hierher. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und es ist extrem sauber. Die Gastgeber sind extrem nett und haben mich aus einem anderen Ort abgeholt, da mich der lokale Busfahrer zu spät und mitten in der Nacht abgesetzt hat. Zudem musste ich am letzten Tag auf meinen Nachtbus warten und durfte das Zimmer nutzen. Die Besitzer wollten mich unter keinen Umständen den halben Tag bezahlen lassen. Ich empfehle normalerweise nichts, aber diese Unterkunft ist eine der besten, die ich in Vietnam hatte. Die ganze Familie und das Haus lohnen sich.

Pros:

The accommodation is not as shown in the pictures. If you don’t mind night visitors like centipedes, cockroaches, and other insects, it’s okay-ish. But there are too many holes and gaps, and the “house” is not sealed properly, especially the bathroom, so animals can easily get inside.

We killed two cockroaches during the night. The place was also not clean. There is a shared kitchen, but it was so dirty that you won’t want to use it.

Not worth the price.

Traditional home stay with amazing hosts so definitely one to book with great views and close to the town
Pros:

Very homely and basic but with everything you need including a big tv internet and aircon etc. with great views of the mountains

Cons:

Upgrading the linens towels etc would be good - clean but maybe time for some new ones.

Cozy place
Pros:

Total in the center of Mu Cang Chai, even bussar can stop in front of the hostel if you show it to driver. Good value for money.

Very cheap place to stay for a night or two
Pros:

The family’s daughter was very friendly. The whole place is overall peaceful.

Cons:

The hot water last for about 30 seconds, the toilet windows and walls are not very clean and we weren’t sure about quite a few things in the house such as soap and shampoo to be used, where to leave dirty dishes and cups, rubbish etc as it was a bit untidy
