The Hotellobby is great and grandious and the people working in the lobby are great. especially the reception staff like Nhuy and Claire and the convierge like Huy (David), he is knowledgable and friendly. (the staff in the lobby makes me give +1 point)
I also liked the room itself, albeit it has some faults overall the room was very nice.
And the laundry staff did a great job with my t shirt that had a persistant stain.
the highlight is undoubtetly the morning buffet that was absolutely great.
internet worked well, the room was quiet and dark
I went there mostly to enjoy the spa, and the spa was really not good. its overpriced, they tried to upsale me and the staff itself while traing to give me a massage at best caressed me instead of giving me a propper massage. I had to tell her i need a stronger massage which promted her to get the supervisor, which luckily had the required technique to at least give me a somewhat normal massage, albeit she only did the back, my problem area, but its much overpriced, for the quality. Any normal shop in hue will do better for a quarter or half the price.
The second big disappointment dragging the score down is the restaurant, i ate at the restaurant three times, out of those my order got messed up 2 times, the second time i complained and it got somewhat fixed. i ordered beef with betal leaves, the staff even came back twice to confirm and reconfirm. what i ended up with was beef with bell pepper. upon complaining the staff first said that i had what i ordered, so i asked her to show me even one betal leave, which she could not, so she went to inquire with the cook who claimed there are betal leaves inside, but there were not. so the food finally for send back to the kitchen. the same food came back containing some betal leaves now. but it was the same beef with bell pepper just reheated and some leaves added... (this is in no way a traditional beef with betal leaves). All in all i still get angry thinking about this. (-1 star for not giving me what i actually wanted to eat until the very end)
the pool has seen better days a lot of the tiles are loose or complelty gone.
the rug in the hotel room has some stains and other strange marks that are clearly due to age and use.
the last disappointing thing is the gym, its very very small, you basically only have some dumb bells and a couple of endurance machines.
all in all the hotel has good rooms and a nice reception staff, stay away from the othere ammenities on the 3rd floor.

We booked this hotel mainly because of the beautiful children’s pool advertised in the photos. Unfortunately, during our stay, the pool was completely closed off due to broken tiles, which was extremely disappointing, especially when travelling with children.
To make matters worse, the main swimming pool was very dirty and poorly maintained. This is certainly not the standard you would expect from a hotel claiming to be 5-star.
On a positive note, our room was very clean. However, some facilities are in desperate need of maintenance and upgrading. In particular, the bathtub was rusty and quite unpleasant to use.
Overall, the hotel did not live up to its advertised standards or our expectations. For a supposedly 5-star property, there is definitely a lot of room for improvement.

The restaurant for dinner was a disappointment. The food took 40+ minutes to prepare, and the food tasted subpar. To top it off, this was probably the most expensive meal and worst tasting in our trip to Vietnam.
