Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Asahi Hotel! The room offered excellent value for money, and the hotel has great facilities, including swimming pools, a sauna and massage services (although we didn't get a chance to use them).
The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We could rent bicycles directly from the guesthouse, which made it very easy to explore the beautiful Tam Coc area.
What made our experience especially memorable was the owner's hospitality. Even after checking out, they kindly allowed us to come back in the evening to take a shower before continuing our journey. Such a thoughtful gesture!
It is a lovely family-run business where you genuinely feel welcome and well taken care of. We highly recommend staying here!

Excellent location, but very poor cleanliness, disappointing breakfast and serious hygiene issues.
Pros:

The location was excellent and very convenient. Unfortunately, that was the main positive aspect of our stay.

Cons:

The cleanliness of the hotel was very poor. The swimming pool water was extremely dirty, and we even found a cockroach in our room. Breakfast was very limited, and there were ants in the sugar. The staff spoke very little English, which made communication difficult. Overall, the hotel did not feel clean or well maintained, and the experience was far below our expectations.

De accommodatie ligt in een rustig straatje in het centrum van Tam Coc. De eigenaren zijn super vriendelijk en helpen je met alles. Er zijn fietsen en brommers te huur en de tam coc boottour ligt op 2 minuten wandelen.

L’emplacement, en plein centre mais en 3eme ligne dans une impasse par rapport à la route !
Charmant petit hôtel et un hôte accueillant avec le sourire
Tout était très bien les chambres la déco la piscine propre et le petit dej un régal
Nous n’avons pas testé d’excursion en passant par l’hôte. Nous avions déjà prévu et nous passions seulement une nuit ! Si c’était à refaire on y resterait au moins 2 à 3 nuits

Hidden oasis in the center of Tam Coc
Pros:

This stay was an absolute highlight of my vacation! The rooms are spacious and clean, and the owner and her family are incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful. They made everything so easy, including renting a motorbike and bicycles.

The pool is amazing, and I also got to enjoy the sauna and steam room, which were a lovely bonus. The location is perfect: right in the centre near the lake, yet tucked away from the main street, so it feels peaceful and quiet. The whole place has a lovely Japanese charm that makes it feel special.

I would especially recommend it to anyone travelling solo. There were plenty of other backpackers and travellers around, and I had so much fun meeting people while still enjoying the relaxed atmosphere.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A wonderful place with a lovely family behind it. Highly recommended!

Pros:

Mr. T and the family took care of our daughter like their own, Hana, while we could enjoy the great, complementary sauna!

Great facilities, rooms, breakfast and overall value for money. The location is just to the central main road but very quiet - we loved it and went cycling everywhere around (available at the hotel).

Pros:
