We had a fantastic time at Gul Hotel Belek. The service was excellent from check-in to check-out — special shoutout to Dariya and Kamel who were amazing and made us feel so welcome.

The room was spotless, the mattress was super comfortable, and the WiFi was fast and reliable which is a big plus. The pool area is really nice and well kept.

Location is perfect too. There’s a great shop right next door for essentials, and it’s an easy walk to Land of Legends.

Would 100% recommend Gul Hotel Belek and would love to come back.

Einzige Katastrophe! Nicht vom Preis verleiten lassen. Nicht einmal der ist adäquat!
Pros:

Relativ freundliches Personal. Speziell der für alles zuständige Herr Mustafa, der Flughafen Taxi sowie Taxi im Ort fuhr, mein Gepäck ins Zimmer tragen half und neben dem Hotel einen Supermarkt betreibt, war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich! Sonst leider gar nichts Positives!

Cons:

So ziemlich alles war katastrophal. Ich habe keine Ahnung, woher hier halbwegs positive Bewertungen kommen. Außer dem billigen Preis (und selbst der ist für diesen Un-Standard noch zu hoch) nur desaströse Zustände:
- altes, verwinkeltes Gebäude, in Stockwerken schon am Gang unangenehmer Geruch.
- bei Betreten des Zimmers fiel bereits ein schrecklicher Kanalgeruch auf. Bei Öffnen der Badezimmertüre wurde dieser Geruch unerträglich. Ich musste sofort die Balkontüre (winziger, staubiger Balkon) öffnen, doch nun war der Autolärm der Straße unten ebenfalls fast unerträglich.
- das Badezimmer war unbenutzbar! Ich habe weder geduscht noch Zähne geputzt, da erstens der Kanal-/Kloake-Geruch völlig unerträglich und sehr intensiv war; bei Öffnen der Badezimmertüre stank dann das ganze Zimmer so unvorstellbar nach Kloake.
- Dusche - Zustand unbeschreiblich für ein Hotel. Boden, Duschwand, Duschkopf völlig abgefackt- mir fällt kein treffendes Wort dazu ein. Schlimmer kann es nicht mehr sein.
- Bett: Völlig ungebügeltes, zerknülltes Leintuch und Kopfpolsterüberzug mit sichtbaren Flecken. Entweder waren diese nicht gewaschen oder sehr schlampig gewaschen. Außerdem fand ich Haare im Bett. Als Decke lag eine alte unwaschbare "Zierdecke" am Bett, mit der wahrscheinlich schon hunderte Leute geschlafen haben, ohne dass sie je gewaschen wurde. Da ich spät abends angekommen war, konnte ich nicht mehr in ein anderes Hotel wechseln. Habe deswegen eines der beiden - ich hoffe, halbwegs sauberen - Handtücher als Unterlage und das zweite als "Decke" verwendet und um den Kopfpolster habe ich meinen mitgebrachten Sweater gewickelt. Trotzdem hatte ich dauernd das Gefühl, immer wieder gepiekst zu werden. Vielleicht war das schon "Einbildung" wegen des grauslichen Zustands des Zimmers und Betts, aber die Chance ist groß, dass hier unerwünschte Tierchen im uralten Bett eingenistet waren.
- ich habe diese Nacht keine Minute richtig geschlafen.
