Wir sind erst nachts angereist und konnten problemlos noch einchecken. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Zimmer haben eine tolle Aussicht auf das Wasser.

Schöner Urlaub, aber...
Pros:

Die Aussicht beim Frühstück war sensationell. Die Fahrräder, die kostenlos zur Verfügung standen, waren gut in Schuss. Wir bekamen ein kostenloses Zimmerupgrade. Sehr nett! Das Personal war supernett und das hat zu unserem schönen Aufenthalt beigetragen.

Cons:

Leider ist die Insel eine echte Geisterstadt. Keines der Lokale am Strand hatte geöffnet, selbst die Toiletten waren nicht zugänglich. Etliche Häuser unbewohnt oder unfertig herumstehend.
Die Fahrräder haben uns gerettet. Wir sind täglich damit ans Festland geradelt.
Aber der desolate Zustand der Insel hat nichts mit dem netten Hotel zu tun.
Da wir 10 Tage im Hotel wohnten, war die Auswahl des Frühstücks etwas eingeschränkt. Der Dachgarten hat uns gut gefallen, könnte aber einen Sonnenschirm vertragen. Leichter Schimmelgeruch im Zimmer, vermutlich aus der Klimaanlage.

Suitable enough but not for an extended stay
Pros:

Lovely spot, friendly staff, however the location was not great. Over 1 km to get anywhere to do anything. Fine if you rented a scooter but the scooter rental the hotel suggested was not great.

Geheimtipp für Afternoon Tea
Pros:

Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr schön eingerichtet mit einer einladenden Lobby und einem tollen Dachgarten. Das Personal war sehr nett und die Frühstücksoptionen haben uns gut geschmeckt. Besonders genossen haben wir den angebotenen Afternoon Tea, der für uns etwas unverständlich nicht beworben wurde.

Cons:

Das Hotel steht etwas verlassen in der Gegend und kann nicht auf den Blickfang anderer Hotels bauen, daher sollte vielleicht noch in die Außenanlage investiert werden. Der Strand ist fußläufig entfernt, aufgrund der Nebensaison (Anfang Dezember) war aber trotz der angenehmen Temperaturen kaum etwas auf der Insel los.

Pros:

Nice quiet place, looks very British though

Cons:

On booking it says they have a restaurant open in the evening. That's not true. It’s closimg at 5pm. I went there hungry at 7pm... the next restaurant is 3km away along the road, not nice to walk in the dark.
Somebody woke me up shouting very loudly for half an hour at 5am. Couldn't sleep again afterwards...

Außen hui innen pfui mit Design Charakter
Pros:

Einrichtung und Design sind super schön gestaltet. Das Frühstück war ganz gut, große Portionen und im schönsten Bereich des Hotels.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war leider sehr dreckig, die Bettwäsche war mit undefinierbaren Flecken übersät. Das Badezimmer wirkte so, als wäre es gar nicht gereinigt worden. Die Gegend war verlassen und leer.

OK verblijf
Pros:

Kamer meer dan oké, fietsen ter beschikking was een extra handigheid.

Cons:

Locatie gewijs was het heel erg rustig, er waren bijna geen gasten in het hotel wat de sfeer niet ten goede kwam. Hoewel alle faciliteiten er zijn, was de sfeer hierdoor wat vreemd. Eetgelegenheden waren wat ver, maar dat wisten we natuurlijk wel op voorhand.
