It was a disappointing experience and did not meet our expectations of a boutique hotel.

When we booked the hotel, we noticed two things: BOUTIQUE HOTEL and Four Star. However, when we arrived, we had to wait quite a while for someone to open the security gate. Although we booked an "apartment" with two bedrooms, and another one bedroom facility with a separate lounge and kitchen, we did not receive what we booked. After being showed around several units, we finally selected what seemed to be the best choices of the available rooms.
The freezer compartment of the fridge was packed with ice and clearly not cleaned recently. Ants were in the kettle and running on the kitchen counter. The bathroom had no door, the toilet had no lid and there were two small containers shampoo for two people for two nights. No body shampoo of body cream was available as one would expect from a four star boutique hotel. The bathroom curtain seemed very old and dirty and was badly torn. The bed mattress was hollow on the one side and no hangers were provided for clothing. The bedside lights were unplugged, and the available plug was not accessible due to the headboard blocking the plug. After asking for attendance to the aircon, it still did not work. There were no dishwashing soap for the dishes and the one kitchen cloth was of such that one did not want to touch it. Also, due to the heat and the aircon not working, we wanted to leave the entrance door open for some cool air, but the security door was damaged and it took a long time to finally get it in working order.

The bed was uncomfortable and old. The furniture was very dirty and old, so worn out. The were cables laying around. The kettle electric cable was next to the bed, making it unsafe. there was no hand soap in the bathroom to wash your hands after using the loo. the room was overall not that clean.

My day was perfect, I enjoyed my sleep, no disturbance's, i would definitely book again
Pros:

The breakfast was good, but i would have preferred them to give me options instead of just assuming what would be a good breakfast, I prefer tea for my breakfast, but only coffee and juice was made available on my table. The location is a 10/10, I loved the view.

Cons:

The breakfast and the dogs, they could improve by giving more breakfast options, and by restricting dogs in certain areas, or at least make sure the dogs are clean.

It was not far from where I was going and the environment,the garden was beautiful. It's in a peaceful area

Cons:

There was a lot of unfairness. There was no electricity in our block and we were told that since we booked late we couldn't be accommodated in one of the rooms that had solar.

The area where it is located

Cons:

The staff there are rude especially the manager. Yes checking is 10am but you cannot chase someone who is 2o .minutes late like a dog and lock him outside whilst waiting for the transport to fetch. That was bit inhuman and I don't think they can do that to another race. It is quite bad experience. I am not sure if I could recommend this facilities any how. Secondly issues of pets. You have dogs chasing guests and the owners of the pets are just folding their arms as if it is a game. Not everyone love pets. Some people are scared of dogs.

Great place to stay, the nearby bus runs right downtown. I will go back again with Family.
