Super Lage an der Waterfront
Pros:

Wir haben uns in erster Linie für das Protea aufgrund der Lage entschieden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Großer Parkplatz, um problemlos den Mietwagen zu parken. Vom Frühstück kann man den Tafelberg und die Waterfront sehen, von der man nur durch eine Straße getrennt ist. Über den Garten des Hotels kann man über die Straße binnen Minuten die Waterfront erreichen und auch abends gut zu Fuß zum Hotel zurücklaufen. Ebenfalls gut zu Fuß erreichbar ist der Oranjezischt Market. Von der Lage ist das Hotel somit top. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer und waren mit unseren Teenagern dort. Jeder hatte sein eigenes Schlafzimmer, Toilette und Bad waren jeweils separat. Das Zimmer war nicht riesig, aber für einen Stadtaufenthalt absolut ausreichend. Wenn wir weiter weg wollten, bspw. Tafelberg hat uns das Uber vor der Tür abgeholt. Ebenfalls gegenüber des Hotels fährt der Sightseeingbus- Hop on Hop off - ab. Perfekt. Absoult zu empfehlen, vor allem auch die Sunsowner Tour auf den Signal Hill. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend, nicht üppig, aber jeder findet was. Cappucino wird auf Wunsch zubereitet. Wir haben uns im Protea sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt und würden es, möchte man ein Domizil an der Waterfront, auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

Très bon emplacement
Pros:

L'emplacement est idéal tout proche du waterfront donc on peut y aller à pieds (restaurants, magasins, excursions). Le personnel était très accueillant. Le petit déjeuner était très bon.

I liked the location of the hotel, which is conveniently situated near the waterfront and in an area where I felt safe walking at night.

The hotel staff, particularly the cleaning and restaurant teams, were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay.

Cons:

I was disappointed to find that several things in the room were not working when I checked in late in the evening, including a few lights. The shower glass door was also stuck, which meant that I was unable to take a shower until the following day, when I was able to ask for assistance.

Although the cleaning staff were very nice and friendly, I felt that the bathrooms could have been cleaned to a better standard. Overall, I think the room and bathroom should have been checked more thoroughly before my arrival.

overall it went fine.
Pros:

staff polite and available. this room was better than last time. I have greatly appreciated that they found my sunglasses and were able to hand over to someone who brought it back to Mauritius.

Cons:

it was really complicated to adjust the water temperature of the shower. Really. Either too hot, or too cold or hot when on cold or vice versa. One day i have very lukewarm water for the morning shower. It was too much.

Good location but not the best hotel - would look for a different one for a future stay.

Cons:

We weren’t informed that the hotel was being renovated and smelled of paint. I also wasn’t aware that the hotel floor in the lecture building could be accessed by members of the public so didn’t feel as safe as I should have. Cleaners removed a bag of laundry because it was in a clear plastic bag so they thought it was rubbish. Just didn’t feel comfortable throughout the stay. Only one remote control for 2 tv’s and wasn’t rectified during our stay.

A equipe foi extremamente gentil mesmo ao lidar com minha insatisfação com o espaço.

Cons:

O hotel foi uma grande decepção: imagens e descrição que estavam no booking não condizem com todas as opções de estadia: alguns prédios e quartos são mais antigos. O prédio onde nós colocaram era originalmente uma prisão, o andar térreo é uma universidade, estavam reformando os corredores… um verdadeiro labirinto, um pessimo astral… o quarto família era pessimo, apertado, realmente uma sensação de prisão. Pedimos cancelamento e formos pra outro hotel.
