Nassau Inn Beachfront

When we arrived the gentlemen at the desk could not find my reservation. I provided him with the confirmation number when I booked the stay. He would not even look any further he kept telling me I needed to know the room number before he could help me. He told me I reserved an Airbub and I needed the room number, and I had to call the owner, he was very insistent. I advised booked through Booking.Com, I had all the information on my phone, it was not a Airbub we called the phone number that I was provided, and it was the Nassau Inn. It took him almost twenty minutes after telling me he couldn't help me without the room number, he FINALLY went into the computer and found my reservation, then he found my key on the desk. Very stressful start to my vacation!!! I book through Booking.com all the time and have never had this issue, they don't provide the room number. The room needs updates, the toilet paper roll is all rusted, coffee stains down the wall. There were no tissues or dishtowel or dish clothes in the room, I had to go down to the desk and ask for them, I was advised by the same gentlemen they didn't provide dish clothes or dish towels and I was given a bathmat for a kitchen towel? Dish soap was almost empty, and the bar soap in the bathroom was so tiny and only provide with two.

Parking was awful, nothing available and I had to pay for parking one of the nights after driving home from the boardwalk when we were exhausted. Cars and trucks so tight in the spaces u couldn’t open ur doors to pack up or unpack.
The room was outdated, had the only air conditioner blowing on top of one of the beds, it was terribly loud so we had to turn it off and sweat all night. Bathroom had moldy ceiling and the tub although clean was gross with age.
Room was small but adequate for a quick stay, living room was ok, just very dark if the curtains were closed and very strong musty smell like a dark basement. We paid way too much to stay here for a 3 day weekend. Location was good but the tradeoff was the awful parking situation.

Pillows were hard

Some property maintenance could be done. Storm door on the unit needs repairs.

I bought an ocean view room (even if it was partial) i had no view of the ocean and was not near it. On top of that the hotel room was dirty there was stains on the blanket and a brown stain on the pillow.

Kitchen is dated but functional. No cleaning supplies like DW liquid or sponge provided. Floors in the room made our feet black so had to wear shoes all the time. Parking was a problem. AC unit worked but when it was on, it blasted the balcony with heat.

Limited outlets in the room; one in the nightstand and one in the corner behind the door. There was only two towels that weren't the best quality. They were thin and felt a little rough after being in the sun. There was only two medium sizes towels, no face towels or extra towels.
