A home away from home. Very comfortable, clean and homely. Food was great.
Pros:

Great location for our stay. Very friendly and attentive staff. Very clean. Comfortable room and bar area. Food was excellent. We would recommend to others, and look forward to a return visit at some point in the future.

Ideal hotel for local tourist attractions.

Superb food prepared by an excellent chef. Emma and Euan are the perfect hosts - thoroughly professional and made our stay even more enjoyable. The room met all our expectations.

Friendly welcoime in this comfortable hotel.
Pros:

This is a small family run hotel where guests are warmly welcomed. Meals were freshly prepared and tasty. Great location to visit the Castle of Mey. Currently using newly refurbished rooms at the rear (reached via a covered walkway) so no issues with passing traffic noise. Great range of Orkney beers.

Cons:

Time for dinner and breakfast is tightly managed to cope with guests using limited staff. Not a problem if you keep to time.

Estancia de lujo. Muy recomendable
Pros:

Un sitio genial. Muy recomendable por varios motivos:
1. La ubicación es excelente. Un pueblo pequeño, pero cerca de dos sitios muy relevantes: Castillo de Mey y Saint John's Point.
2. La comida es excepcional. Cenamos y desayunamos allí.
3. El trato es exquisito. Servicio ejemplar. Muy bien atendidos en todo momento
4. Las habitaciones son grandes, agradables, cómodas y decoradas con gusto.

Familia de 3 con hijo adolescente. Contratamos dos habitaciones.
La ubicación permite usarlo como parada en la ruta NC500 y visitar los dos sitios mencionados, que me parecen de lo mejor de esa zona.

Perfect stopover on the NC500
Pros:

Our room was lovely, very clean and had everything we needed for our stopover. The food in the restaurant was delicious and Emma & Euan made us feel really welcome. We’d definitely stay again. Thank you.

Fabulous hotel on NC500
Pros:

The Mey Hotel is an exceptional hotel perfectly located for the NC500 road trip, the Castle Mey and Orkney Ferries. We had dinner at the hotel and it was fabulous, the breakfast was just as good. The rooms are gorgeously decorated. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and felt right at home. We would definitely recommend and would stay there again without hesitation.

Ein sehr schönes, kleines Hotel für einen Kurzaufenthalt.
Pros:

Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und herzlich. Wir haben uns für die eine Nacht dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Es gab ausreichend Heizmöglichkeiten inkl. einer Wärmflasche. Die wir allerdings nicht gebraucht haben.
Es gab einen großen Parkplatz und zwei Lademöglichkeit für Elektroautos.
