A unique and unforgettable turtle experience that felt absolutely worth it.
Pros:

This is a truly unique place to stay for one night and experience the turtles in the most authentic way. I was honestly surprised by the value for money: for around USD 300 for three people, we had accommodation, two turtle tours, two meals, museum access, and access to a private turtle beach. The guides were very caring and did their best to make sure everyone could see the important moments and take beautiful photos to remember the experience.

Cons:

At night in August it was very windy, so the tent was quite noisy. However, for us this was part of the authentic experience rather than a real issue.

A fantastic opportunity to see the turtles up close. There were lots that were nesting and got to see the whole process,
Pros:

The tent concept was great. Part of the adventure for the kids (13 & 15). Proximity to the turtles nesting site.

Cons:

The main building was a little run down. Tents were good.

Great choice for turtle watching
Pros:

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is great where you have direct access to the turtle watching.

Cons:

We stayed in a luxury tent. But the telephone was not working on the first day. And there were a lot of fabric issues on the tent. Clearly it is lack of proper maintenance. The breakfast was poorer than expected.

The turtle experience was wonderful, but the hotel itself was disappointing.
Pros:

The turtle watching activity arranged by the hotel was excellent and very memorable.

Cons:

The room facilities are outdated and clearly showing signs of age.
The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. We woke up with body aches every morning.
The air conditioning blows directly onto the bed, making it impossible to avoid the cold air during sleep. Several family members caught a cold during our stay.
We stayed for two nights, but the room was not cleaned during our stay.
Breakfast was very average, with limited variety and quality.
The overall standard of accommodation and service does not match the premium price being charged.

Très bonne experience malgré tout !
Pros:

Hôtel situé directement dans la réserve. Proche de la plage, et ideal pour aller voir les tortues (visites avec des guides tres sympas).
Nourriture très bonne.
La Tente Éco Familiale de Luxe est spacieuse et confortable, bien equipee, et bien climatisee.

Cons:

L'emplacement était calme ; mais extremement venté. La tente #24 est directement exposee, et impossible de fermer l'oeil de la nuit.
Trop de monde a la visite des tortues ; et nous n'avons pas ressenti de traitement de faveur du fait d'avoir reside a l'hotel (vs. venant de l'exterieur).

Delightful turtle viewing
Pros:

Lovely stay in the Eco-tent. Big comfy bed. Breakfast, lunch and aupper all very good. Tasty, fresh food. Friendly staff. Polite, helpful waiters. Well organised turtle viewing tours. Many visitors, but managed well. Lovely gift shop. Great stay. Highly recommended.

Cons:

It was a very lovely 1 night stay 😀 Good atmosphere, nothing to dislike.

A unique place to visit
Pros:

This is a very difficult hotel to rate. The accomodation and services are basic, but if you plan to stay just for accomodation, you probably are in the wrong place. The real value is the experience the hotel provides - the turtles, and that is a 10. The staff is helpfull and very welcoming - Omani style. The location is unique.

Cons:

Accomodation is basic, but according to expectations. The food - both dinner and breakfast - are decent. Too much people for the turtle tours, despite the efforts of breaking it into small groups.
