-The room had a very bad, musty smell because of the carpet. The window was open the whole time during our stay and the smell still persisted. We sprayed some perfume around the bed area to make it more managable but it didn't help much. The bed is also very low so the smell was even worse when laying down. I woke up just as tired as I was when I went to sleep, plus a headache.
-Even though there was an insect net installed at the window, I was constantly woken up by mosquitoes.
-Everything looked really old and worn. Only the shower looked newer. There was no plug in the sink so you were looking directly into the draining pipe.
-The breakfast was really underwhelming for a "fabulous breakfast" tag. Very little choice.
I don't know if I was just really unlucky with the room that I got (117) or it's the same in every room, but this hotel is in need of a deep cleaning and renovation.
