A lovely overnight stay, would definitely look to return

Avoid sorry.. what a shame. Booking.com ripped us off
Pros:

It was on a very busy (for Deal) roundabout where cars approached at 30mph so dangerous and didn’t indicate. Seriously.

Cons:

So so old fashioned and absolutely awful.. it is NOT A HOTEL but a grotty pub with rooms above. Bathroom so old and full of mildew. Room 14. Top floor.

Fantastic location, and view from room amazing

Cleanliness isn't up to scratch,very dirty sticky stair rails, toilet seat only had one fixing so slid from toilet bowl, bath taps hard to reach as fixed shower screen

Staff were excellent
Nice to have tea making facility in the room

Cons:

It’s very dated, lots of stairs, wouldn’t suit everyone - furniture in the room was very old
The breakfast was not the best, small portions
Coconut panna cotta was very disappointing it was literally a spoonful of cream - I should have complained and asked to take it off the bill - chef should rethink his offering!

Great location, big room, nice toiletries and shower, decent breakfast and staff were happy to look after my bag after I checked out.

Cons:

It said it’s a non smoking hotel but my room smelt of cigarette smoke that lingered. The room was quite dated and needed some TLC. Also found a small piece of glass on the carpet - I let the cleaning staff know who were apologetic.

Nice hotel in great location
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Cons:

There is no lift and all the rooms are accessed by a steep staircase. The bathroom is also small with the shower above a bathtub - given the space available for the bathroom, and the average age of the clientele, a shower cubicle would have been much better than a bath.

Lovely hotel, great room. Good breakfast
Pros:

We had the most beautiful room looking out to sea with 2 big armchairs. Walking distance to town and all the lovely quirky shops. An unusual hotel. Deal pier was so close and we ended up having dinner at the end - a great find!

Cons:

Parking was a real issue.
Lots of stairs.

Nähe zu Dover für eine Nacht super. Als längerer Aufenthalt eher nicht.

Nähe zu Dover, Restaurant mit dabei.

Cons:

Sauberkeit, Mitarbeiterin am Empfang, wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht, laut der Mitarbeiterin war weder ein Lunchpaket noch ein Frühstück vor 7 Uhr möglich.
Am nächsten Tag hat sich das als falsche Information herausgestellt. Leider war es dann zu spät zu frühstücken.
