Para repetir mil veces!
Pros:

La ubicación es perfecta: lo suficientemente cerca del pueblo como para llegar andando pero, a la vez, rodeado de selva en un marco privilegiado. Mucha vegetación, ardillas, monos mientras desayunábamos…
Ha sido espectacular.
El desayuno es servido con todo el cariño en la terraza de la habitación.
La familia que regenta el homestay es encantadora, y el chaval con el que nos comunicábamos casi todo el tiempo es un amor.
Sólo tenemos palabras de agradecimiento hacia ellos por hacernos la estancia tan maravillosa.

Calme et agréable guesthouse au milieu d'une magnifique végétation
Pros:

Charmante Guest House, nichées entre les plantes et autres palmiers luxuriants.
Des singes, des tamias, des oiseaux juste devant votre terrasse.
Chaque chambre a sa terrasse privative.
Les petits déj sont parfaits, avec des nouveautés tous les matins.

Cons:

Accès difficile (voire impossible) en voiture. Le propriétaire est arrangeant avec son Tuk Tuk mais c'est indispensable pour transporter les bagages.
Le centre de Ella est à environ 15 min de marche le long de la voie de chemin de fer (et oui, au Sri Lanka, on marche le long des voies de chemin de fer).
Attention la cascade n'est pas tout prêt et nous n'avons pas trouvé comment accéder à son pied.

Pros:

The owner is a cutter. One women boss and its remarkable in.Sri Lanka. She is trusty, always with smile and her dog, Nicky always by her side. The room are perfect and you have intimacy. Quiet, view on the forest jungle, lot of birds, lena and monkey ! A real show every morning 😍

Beautiful!!
Pros:

I loved everything about my stay at this property in Ella!! Clean, Incredible views, cozy bed, private balcony, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful and served every morning on the balcony of my room. I extended my stay an extra night and would’ve stayed much longer if I had the time. About a 10 min walk into town and plenty of tuk tuks available if needed. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Truly 5 stars!!

Very cozy and Lovely
Pros:

We had a wonderful time here! The balcony of the room looks out on the waterfall and we saw so much wild birds, mongoose, monkeys! Even when there was a storm, this was such a romantic place that my boyfriend proposed here.🧡

The breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka, maybe my life.😅

It is a bit far from the centre but there is a shortcut by walk and reachable by tuktuk. You can also hear the other rooms quite well but as many go to sleep early here that is no problem. I loved the rain on the roof as well! Perfect to sleep.

Wunderbares Hotel mit schönen Zimmern

Das Cozy Homestay ist ein gemütliches kleines Hotel mit einer tollen Aussicht. Es liegt mitten im Grünen und man wird morgens von dem Gesang der Vögel geweckt. Unser Zimmer war groß, gut ausgestattet und sauber. Frühstück wurde uns morgens zur gewünschten Uhrzeit vor dem Zimmer auf dem Balkon serviert und war super lecker!
Vom Hotel aus kann man eine längere Treppe hochsteigen und ist dann direkt auf den Bahngleisen, von denen aus man mehrere Restaurants erreicht und in die eine Richtung direkt zu einem großen Wasserfall kommt. In die andere Richtung geht's in den Ort hinein mit allen Bars und Geschäften.
Der Gastgeber ist extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Unser Aufenthalt hier und in Ella allgemein war das Highlight unseres Sri Lanka Rundtrips und wir planen schon, wieder hierhin zurück zu kommen!

Pros:

The property was wrapped in the natural surroundings with monkeys jumping about. It was close to the main area although a big walk back up the hill but a tuk tuk was very cheap and a local waterfall to see close by

Very Cozy
Pros:

There amazing night at Senu and his family's. The view of the waterfall and the mountain is beautiful, the accommodation is in a perfect location for Ella Rock hiking and to reach the town of Ella on foot by following the tracks. Senu is always attentive and available. Breakfast in the morning was both hearty and delicious. If it was possible to give more than 5 stars, I would! Thanks again
