Friendly and beautiful
Quality of bedding isn't great, the duvet covers don't do up so the duvet ends up hanging out of it. Tiny, very poor quality pillows.
Inadequate hospitality tray, quantity of milk and sugar insufficient. A small fridge in the room would make a huge difference.
Poor drainage of en suite sink. Very very dusty walls but overall cleanliness acceptable. Very basic facilities for price point.

Exceptionally welcoming and helpful staff. Delicious dinner - sadly, didn't have time to check out the breakfast. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed! Beautiful old building and our rooms at the back were very quiet.
My only very small niggle is that the shelf above the bathroom basin made it difficult to rinse your mouth out after cleaning ones teeth! It's not a deal breaker tho!

Breakfast was adequate (see below) and nice to see that choosing a lighter, child's menu option was not 'banned' for an adult (and more than adequate BTW).
Breakfast here has 'lost' the fruits, cereals, yoghurt options, which is a shame, On Sunday evening, when we returned from a local event, the bar was closing shortly, which was a shame - seemed unnecessary when guests staying are allowed drinks and there was a night porter on duty.
The staff was very nice and the room was very clean.
But the room was also very dark and stuffy. The windows only opened a tiny little bit and it was quite hot when I was there.
Czysto, wygodne łóżka. Na śniadanie jest do wyboru kilka opcji z menu. My wybraliśmy full English breakfast. Jedzenie całkiem niezłe i duże porcje.
Bardzo gorąco w pokoju, przez co ciężko było zasnąć. Być może na taki pokój trafiliśmy, bo u dzieci było nieco chłodniej. Brak klimatyzacji, ale jest wiatrak.
Dat er eigenlijk altijd iemand bereikbaar is, want de pub is open van s'morgens tot laat in de avond..En parkeerplek is er. Wel ff ter plekke registreren, maar top hoor.

No possibility for continental breakfast. Very small bathroom (but very clean, though). Not possible to put invoices from the bar on the hotel room.

There are 2 White Hartes in Hook, the postcode does not take you to it easily. We went to the wrong one to start with. Directions need to be clearer on Booming.com.
There was no A/C. There was 1 fan in the room and the curtains had been left open all day so the room was boiling hot. The window was tiny. We had to prop open the door to let a little air flow through. The young staff were lovely but the evening manager couldn’t be found to speak to on both occasions, it appears she was on a fag break both times & didn’t bother to bring us a fan when I asked her to do so. This resulted in an extremely uncomfortable night for my birthday. This is not the break I had hoped for.

Food wasn't very good and unfair cost for what was served.
Had a quiz night on but failed to inform us on arrival so didn't enjoy the meal as had a quiz man shouting over the microphone at us!
Would not recommend staying.
