Good location relative to the railway station, gym was OK but too basic, breakfast was OK

Wanted to cancel the last night

Staff told me that I had to get it approved by Booking’s customer service

It was approved and then staff said that even with Booking’s approval they can’t approve last night cancellation

WALKING UP TO THE HOTEL THE STEPS WERE VERY GRUBY AND NEEDED A GOOD SCRUB EXSPECTED BETTER.....
Pros:

THE ROOM WAS LARGE WITH PLENTY OF ROOM FOR LUGGAGE. LOVELY SPOTLESS SHOWER ROOM WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEEDED. ROOM WAS CLEAN APART FOR SOME TEA STAINS ON THE WALL AND SKIRTING BY THE BEDSIDE TABLE.

Cons:

LIGHTING WAS SOFT AND TO DIM FOR MY OLD EYES SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ADJUST IT. MATRESS KEPT MOVING WHEN GETTING IN AND OUT OF BED AND WASN'T VERY COMFY. ROOM WAS VERY COLD NO INSTRUCTIONS FOR AIR CONDITIONING. ROOM WAS LONG WAY FROM THE LIFT FOR ANYONE WITH WALKING DIFFICUTIES WE DID EXPLAIN OUR PROBLEMS FIRST. MY SONS ROOM SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHANGED HE COULD;NT USE THE DRESSING TABLE BECAUSE IT WAS FACEING THE WALL WAITING TO BE FIXED AND THRE WERE PROBLEMS WITH THE WASH BASIN IN THE SHOWER ROOM. RESEPTION DIDN;T CARE SAID IT WAS JUST ONE OF THEM THINGS WAITING FOR A SPARE PART
