Pros:

Location is good. Very convenient, with nearby food options. Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Place is a bit dated and needs some upgrade. The walls are thin, could use better soundproofing.

In general a good place to stay, if you are looking for an inexpensive place that is central.
Pros:

There Remington is very central to most places and easy accessible. The rooms are comfortable and keep clean by staff on request. Staff are friendly.

Cons:

There could be provision made for a in-house coffee shop perhaps, especially if you want to grab something quickly, but don't want to go out. A option for breakfast may be good, especially because places mostly only open up at 10am.

Pros:

Room is spacious, excellent staff service especially reception, clean, easy free parking round the hotel, in town centre. Only downside is slow internet and no good tv channels to see but Axn which is Astro. Same Movies keep repeating and because of slow internet , the movie doesnt run smoothly

My first stay with Remington Hotel
Pros:

It was my time staying in Remington Hotel. Many years ago, it was Pelangi Hotel, and I stayed there once.

Back then Pelangi was pretty run down and the place had a gloomy feel.

Now that this hotel has been renovated and managed by another brand, it has become much better, cleaner and more comfortable.

I am happy with my stay with Remington Hotel, except there wasnt a mini fridge in my room, which I was unable to store my drinks and fruits to keep them chill. I had to get small quantity of juices daily from the supermarket, which was a real inconvenience for me. I would recommend the hotel to provide mini fridges in the rooms moving forward. China brand of mini fridges are not expensive. Management to consider this recommendation.

I do hope to have a mini fridge in my next year stay with Remington.

Also the management should consider replacing the bath towels as they are really very worn out.
