The rusty plug hole in oddly situated sink.
The cramped toilet/ shower combo with plastic marbled effect screwed on wall coverings with sliding door. A bit shocking. Fixed into wall hair dryer, nicotine coloured, worked for three seconds then stopped,
above sink. When mentioned the next day I did receive the shared one from behind reception.
Asked if there was parking as hired a car and had elderly parent with me. Was assured there was. It was right on the front and filled.with work vans and a mini bus. I had to park 75 m in a very tight few spots round the back.
Apart fron the obvious it also didn't look pleasant for a holiday. More like a b and b where workers stay

The view from the front veranda was good

Cons:

Room resembled student accommodation from the 1970s - tiny, inadequate lightbulbs in toilet and main light, dingy, Heath Robinson was here I'm sure, horrible carpet and curtains. Only one tiny bedside light in a double room. Very noisy on and off - probably from hot water piping. Breakfast was odd - eg a choice of a cereal or prunes or grapefruit.
All very shabby. If I had been asked to pay £70 I would not have minded but £133! No

Oban is a nice place to visit .
Pros:

Pretty from the outside

Cons:

Room smelled musky. Bed was not comfortable. Bathroom was bad. Afraid to take a shower. A lot of steps to get to room, would not recommend for older people.

Fantastisk utsikt

Det är lätt att hitta till hotellet. Bara följa vattnet. Utsikten är fantastisk!! Mysig lobby i gammal härlig engelsk stil. Personalen var trevlig. Fick en varm och god frukost på morgonen, och även om kaffet var väldigt blaskigt, så var det välkommet.

Cons:

Det ÄR skillnad på gammalt o rustikt, och gammalt o ORUSTAT. Rummet hade egen toa o dusch, samt att utsikten var 10/10, men i övrigt var det sunkigt och totalt charmlöst. Sängen var svajjig o knarrig. Det funkar för en eller två nätter, men sänk ribban rejält så slipper ni bli besvikna.
