Pros:

Don’t believe reviews that say this is not as bad as the bad reviews say. It is. It’s up for sale and needs gutting and starting from scratch. Staff were helpful and attentive.

Cons:

It’s all in other reviews how tired this place is, but the tin lid for us was the nearly finished toilet roll in the bathroom - with the neatly folded wee pointy bit on the end - plus a half used one as back up. Come on!

Everything, the room was an accident waiting to happen with deep cracks on the ceiling and walls, mould in shower and toilet, soft furnishings felt damp . Overall it was an awful experience, I don't have a problem with things being old, but lack of maintenance is inexcusable considering what they charge. Just taking advantage of tourists and dont appear to care.

Nice budget hotel, great staff, great location, perfect for a short trip to Oban.
Pros:

The location was excellent, worth paying a little extra for sea view, I liked the preorder for breakfast, it was nice going to dining room and seeing my cereal and juice ready, and knowing I was getting my cooked Breakfast soon. Room a little dated, but spotless, didnt use shower as was at pool, but again spotless. Staff were very kind and very work oriented.

Nothing to complain about.

An older hotel with charm.
Pros:

An older building, located within walking distance from the city center and facing the ocean. Beds in our room were low and fairly thin, but they were adequate.

Bed was clean and comfy - breakfast staff very friendly but not the check in girl who couldn’t raise a smile.
