A wonderful stay that has lovely views and close to downtown.
Pros:

We all loved the views, and being able to sit inside or outside and watch the boats coming and going to the harbor. David and the rest of the staff ere always helpful and welcoming, with great information when we needed it.

Cons:

Our shower was tall enough for my husband,but small to move around in.

Lovely hotel with excellent service!
Pros:

A beautiful property with excellent customer service. The breakfast was delicious, the grounds lovely and the bedroom was very comfortable. We will prioritize staying here again as it was our favorite hotel in Scotland.

Cons:

The dinner menu had limited options but the food was very good.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le charme du manoir, la vue sur la baie et le port depuis la bar, le parking de l'hôtel ainsi que le petit déjeuner copieux et servi entièrement à table.
Le personnel était particulièrement prévenant, et nous avons beaucoup aimé être guides dans le choix de notre dégustation de whisky par un vrai spécialiste car la carte était fort variée.
La literie confortable et le décor de la chambre nous ont beaucoup plu.

Cons:

On a choisi de réserver une table pour le dîner à l'hôtel, nous avons trouvé que le menu n'est pas assez varié et que les portions étaient trop petites, mais tout était très bon.

The staff, food and drink, location and views made for a standout stay.
Pros:

Wonderful building, public rooms were excellent with views over the sea and mountains. And a perfect location to catch the ferry.
Our room was exceptional. All facilities, king size bed and very spacious bathroom.

Beautiful boutique hotel

What a lovely little hotel! Only a short 10 minute stroll from the train station we were delighted with the Manor, fantastic staff, excellent room and a beautiful view of the bay. The room was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom had recently been updated so was modern and the shower amazing. Breakfast was very good, both cooked and continental, and the coffee was strong and plentiful. The chap working while we were there was exceptional, fantastic local knowledge, helpful suggestions for heading into Oban and he stayed late to keep the bar open for us, despite having to be in for breakfast the next day, great customer service and a lovely bloke too. Overall we had a wonderful stay, would definitely recommend the Manor and would make a point of staying there again if we're in Oban.

Excellent boutique hotel.
Pros:

This delightful property is situated a short walk from Oban. It has fantastic views across the harbour and towards the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly.

Fantastic property, location and staff.
Pros:

Had a fantastic stay here. Lovely property and gardens in a great location. Evening meal and breakfast were very good. Felt very relaxed. Staff are brilliant especially Stephen. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We liked the whole experience. Loved the old Georgian features. The view from our lovely old-style bedroom window gave us beautiful panoramas over Oban bay, especially lovely at sunset. We loved the noise of the boats passing in and out. The outdoor seating area with the view out the back is so relaxing. Breakfast was lovely. The dining room is beautiful with its old features and we loved sitting next to the old Georgian range.
My partner booked this for my 60th birthday, and we both enjoyed our stay - the staff were so helpful and friendly.

Cons:

We would change nothing.

Another great night at the Manor House
Pros:

Full of character and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The gardens are beautiful and the view spectacular and its position a few yards from the ferry terminal was perfect for us
