We booked a very last minute stay here for 2 nights due to our original hotel being a building site. Couldn’t have been happier with the stay at the Manor. Tim was welcoming, the hotel itself was in a perfect location for us as 5 min from where our friends were staying, breakfast was great, making the most of the weather eating outside on the patio. Even had a bath that i could comfortably lay down in as most are too small. Nice and quiet area.
Definitely would recommend and stay again if in the area.
Breakfast was good, location was central for our needs, the hotel was a comfortable place to chill out. The staff are 100%.
More than 7 chips with my fish dinner for the price paid.
Good location. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff.
The dinner menu was very limited and did not change from day to day
Breakast was excellent, lots of choice and delicious
Loved the terrace and gardens.
Dinner was good, food delicious and beautifully presented...but maybe a limited chice of menu for some.
Owner always made us very welcome, always friendy and helpful.
We liked our room...but the toilet flush was sometimes a little tricky.
Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean and the staff were attentive and so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was well appointed and the decor was lovely. The bed was a little uncomfortable, however don’t let that influence your decision to stay as I sometimes struggle on mattresses that aren’t my own!
Nothing at all. Was so lovely!
Very friendly, helpful staff. Loved the quiet ambience of a tastefully quirkily modernised Edwardian banker’s country retreat. Very nice food.
Wee bit difficult to find as no visible sign at the property. Use satnav.
We found the Manor almost by accident and could not believe our luck. Everything was perfect under the watchful eye of Tim and his staff and will try to return in the future.
Nothing to report.
On arrival there was plenty of space in the car park. Greeted in a friendly manner with bags being carried to my upgraded room. Room was spacious with tea/coffee facilities and tv and WIFI. Large shower in the bathroom and hot water any time. Choice of cooked and continental breakfast, and lovely evening meals.
Part of my choosing this hotel was because it had a restaurant but when I arrived I found out it was only open for two evenings. Nothing else to dislike.
The bed was comfortable the room was clean
Bra frukost och trevligt lugnt område
Det var bara ett gemensamt täcke i sängen.
Very enjoyable stay, Helena was very welcoming and friendly. Very beautifully decorated inside,, clean and fresh looking, nice breakfast. Only stayed for one night, but will return later in the year. Tried one of the local pubs for food (The Hare and Hounds) - food was excellent.
No restaurant in the evening.
Clean rooms
Friendly staff
Good breakfast
Slightly weird
Nobody at reception after 1600, so given a door code by text, rather strange to be in a hotel no staff on location- and I sense from car park there was only one other couple staying - great hotel though and surprisingly cheap - would prefer a bar and restaurant and staff though as all other hotels
Nice place staff very helpful
Toilet couldn’t flush no service
After 4 00 pm bar and restaurant loses Sunday
