Fantastic stay
Pros:

I stayed here for 5 nights and I could say it was very good value for the money. The room was so clean and spacious. The shared bathroom was clean and had stock of toilet paper and bath gels. Even though the bathrooms are shared, it was enough for the whole floor. The breakfast was healthy and fantastic and the coffee tastes so good! The hotel was 10 mins away from the station, although the walk was a struggle with my luggage, the view was very scenic! Thun is very beautiful and the staff in Hotel Schwert are very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely go back!!

Cons:

I asked what coffee beans they used and the staff did not know because the machine is automatic haha. This is not really about the hotel but I just want to know the coffee used because I like it very much!

Cons:

.."wir sind kein Sternehotel" bekam ich zur Antwort, als ich die viele Minderwertigkeiten ansprach. Minimalistischen Frühstück ab 8.00 Uhr. Der Zugang zum Zimmer durch eine Verwahrlosung Ausentreppe im Innenhof. Kein Bett, nur eine Mütze auf einer Halterung.
Laut Ausschreibung ist es aber ein gehobenes 3-Sterne Hotel. In Wirklichkeit eine primitive Herberge. (Mein Zimmer). Also ein eingestanden Betrug

Great small hotel, centrally located
Pros:

Lovely old building off the main square. Comfortable bed in a nice-sized room with a separate bathroom which was clean and just for us during this stay. Very good breakfast.

A gem in the beautiful Altstadt!
Pros:

The hotel is so quaint - loved it! A very old building with creaky wood floorboards but decorated lovely. Real character. And such a lovely breakfast - beautifully presented.

Cons:

I liked everything! One word of warning though if you are a bit older - some narrow stairs to climb up to reception, and more if room is on the floor above.

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, den ich gerne wiederholen möchte!
Pros:

Sehr hübsche, einfach und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer in schönen Farben, ohne unnötigen „Luxus“. Und das Restaurant sehr schön und gemütlich. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Und die Lage in der schönen Altstadt ist ideal.
