A great stay in a central location with friendly staff and easy access to transport and amenities.
Pros:

Great location close to the train station and ferry terminal on Lake Thun, right in the heart of town with plenty of nearby food options. The staff were lovely and very helpful, even arranging an early breakfast for me when I had an early train to Zurich. It’s also conveniently close to the local swimming spot on the river.

Pros:

Jedes Zimmer ist individuell eingerichtet, historische Bausubstanz trifft inmitten der zentral gelegenen Altstadt auf stilsicher renoviertes Ambiente. Das dazu passende erstklassige Frühstück wird bei eleganter Musik im kunstvoll ausgestatteten Speiseraum serviert. Großartig!

In der Gasse vor dem Hotel kann es nachts laut werden.

Sehr nettes Hotel mit sehr liebem Personal!
Pros:

Tolle Lage, charmante Einrichtung, Gemeinschaftsbad sehr sauber und alles dabei was man benötigt. Frühstück war sehr gut, frisch zubereitet und ausreichend!

Pros:

Amazing breakfast with lovely staff to serve it. The tourist pass was so helpful for free buses and discounted transport to the top of the mountain. The room was so large and lovely. Shared bathrooms always clean.

Cons:

Being summer we slept with windows open to try to cool the room down. Can't help the weather but it would be lovely to have a fan in the room.

Loved that the room was nice and big and also loved the staff and the breakfast was amazing

Cons:

The pillows were terrible offering zero support, no matter how much you tried to bunch them up and the bed was a little too firm. Also, they need to put room darkening curtains in because it was very bright like daytime even in the middle of the night. It was also noisy throughout the night.

Wunderschönes, zentrales und gemütliches Hotel, aber nicht für unruhige Schläfer geeignet.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr zentral aber dennoch an einer ruhigeren Strasse. Perfekt für einen Städtetrip. Ausserdem ist das Personal extrem freundlich und passt sich sehr den Bedürfnissen der Gäste an. Das Hotel ist sehr klein und hat eine familiäre und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Dafür war unser Zimmer für 3 Personen wirklich riesig.

Cons:

Leider gab es nur einen sehr dünnen Vorhang vor den grossen Fenstern im Zimmer und die Fensterläden konnten wir nicht schliessen. Daher war es auch in der Nacht von der Strassenbeleuchtung draussen extrem hell im Zimmer. Wenn man nur im dunkeln schlafen kann, kann das ein Problem sein. Ausserdem sind die Wände sehr dünn und man hört den Fussboden von den Gästen oberhalb und nebenan immer knirschen. Auch das ist aber nur ein Problem, wenn man einen leichten Schlaf hat.

Ausgezeichnete, ruhige Lage in der Altstadt direkt hinterm Rathausplatz. Es ist ein schönens altes Haus mit einfachen, aber hübschen eingerichteten Zimmern, inklusive altem Holzfussboden. Vor allem das mit Liebe zubereitete Frühstück bleibt in Erinnerung. Empfehlenswert für alle, die kleine, individuelle Hotels mögen!

Herzlicher und unkomplizierter Empfang, einfache aber gute Ausstattung mit viel Charme. Sehr sauber.

Cons:

Dafür kann das Hotel nichts, die Partypeople in der Gasse können ganz schön Ausdauer haben.

An ok place to stop in transit but a shared toilet and shower.
Pros:

Very central. Staff were great. A good shower and windows that opened. Breakfast was acceptable.

Cons:

The room I had the bed needs a new mattress as far too soft and new pillows as again too soft. As it was south facing hard to keep it cool as no AC.
