Very comfortable room, lovely pub, delicious freshly cooked breakfasts, top quality evening meals and a delightful location. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
.
Didn’t make it to breakfast
It was very hot and uncomfortable, 33 degrees, with no fans available.
Clean, lovely decor and comfortable a great setting with good parking facilities
Staff were outstanding. Helped with everything including helping plan our days out. Food was the best I have had in a long time.
Steep flight of stairs to bedrooms if you had mobility issues this would be a problem. However staff carried your case to the room
Really quaint we loved the little different areas outside, roll top bath amazing, and all the staff were really lovely. Will definitely visit again.
Breakfast and food, room was superb, would defintely stay again...
No aircon or fans in room and was extremmely hot and uncomfortable whilst staying during the heat wave..
Freundliches, unkompliziertes Personal, sehr gutes Abendessen, noch besseres Frühstück.
Sehr schönes Zimmer mit tollem Bad und einer entspannenden Dusche mit Wasserstrahl ohne Wasserspartechnik.

Price was different on my phone to my sisters phone it should be the same I booked through booking.com my sister had looked also on booking.com but it was cheaper on hers we didn’t realise until we paid
Location , staff team and it was dog friendly
Breakfast was good -delicious scrambled eggs and good coffee
Lots of parking
It’s a local pub and would benefit from a bit of updating.
Room was a good size, big slipper bath was great.
Generally needed a bit of re decoration.
Mattress could do with being replaced
A bit ‘ interesting ‘ needing to access bedroom via fire escape once the pub closed .
( it was closed by 10-30pm on the night we stayed )
Wonderful warm welcome.
Supremely comfortable room with top quality bedding.
Delicious food.
Excellent staff.
More Twin Rooms
Excellent in every way. Room was clean and spacious with everything needed.
Food was beautiful, and the full breakfast was huge. Also with all the usual stuff. Most of the food is locally sourced and homemade where possible.
Service in the evening was very good and the staff all excellent.
Nothing.
I love this property as it truly unique. The location is lovely and has great outdoor facilities. The hotel seems to specialise in sea food, and the quality of the food is awesome and reasonable.
The staff are amazing and I love the complimentary port in the room
I stayed during the “heatwave” with my wife and 2 small dogs and we all had a great stay
Staff especially Lydia very helpful and friendly. Food was excellent and plenty of outdoor seating areas
Breakfast was great staff went out of their way to help great portions of food loved it
Nothing
The friendly and welcoming staff who showed us to our room and offered to take our The bedroom was spacious enough and the bathroom was very large and well appointed with walk-in shower and roll-top bath. The little decanter of port was an unexpected luxury! The restaurant was excellent with a large selection on the menu, very well cooked and served quickly. The inn was very dog friendly which is important to us. Parking was very easy.
The only thing was the steep staircase. Given the age of the building we were expecting this but the door at the bottom of the stairs with no landing made this a bit of a challenge for us personally given we have mobility issues but we managed.
