Estuvimos 3 días con mi marido, llegamos el domingo y la ubicación nos pareció lo mejor, al lado de todo. La vista hermosa, los bares tradicionales abajo, todo perfecto si queres vivir lo tradicional de York. La habitación bien, comoda, la Tv no es smart asi que no pudimos ver ninguna aplicación... Hablamos español, casi nada inglés. Tendrían que ver eso no todos los turistas hablan inglés. La chica que nos hizo el check in, ni una sola palabra en español, nosotros usábamos el traductor, la chica ni voluntad, nos abrió la puerta de abajo y ni siquiera nos acompañó a la habitación. La entrada por escalera mini muy oscura y apenas abrimos la puerta una araña como mi mano pegada al marco... la habitación bien, pero éramos 2 y un solo vaso y una sola cucharita de café... lo mejor la ubicación EXCELENTE! Solo para estancias cortas y si tenes problemas de piernas o sos muy mayor no lo recomiendo por las escaleras muy empinadas.
Personal que nos recibió, no hablan nada nada español, por lo menos un Hola, buenos días, no gustóel trato... pasillo sucio y oscuro había una araña del tamaño de mi mano en el marco de la puerta. Un solo vaso y una cucharita para 2 personas... tv sin aplicaciones, no pudimos ver nada ya que la tv no podía subtitulada en español. No limpiaron ni un día de los que estuvimos.
Location was really good, an excellent place to stay for seeing York. The bed was very comfy and the shower was nice. The bathroom was a decent size.
The room/ overall property was a little worn and could have used a proper clean. Some bits like the corners and the windows were dirty when we arrived.
There are clubs/bars nearby which are noisy but with the windows closed it wasn't bad and they do close not too late.
Comfortable room with good amenities, shower/bathroom was very spacious. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Best price within walking distance of the city centre.
Noticed some cracked tiles in the bathroom and other blemishes. The duvet seemed to be torn at the bottom.

The room needs some serious TLC, quality wise it is just above a hostel since the rooms are private with an en suit. Pillows were very hard as was the bed, and due to the location there was quite a bit of noise outside.
It was conveniently located from St Georges field carpark where I parked and getting into the city centre.
The smell of mould as I entered the room, the absolutely filthy window which looked out onto a brick shaft covered in pigeon poo, as well as very ill looking pigeons.
There were (makeup) stains on the towels as well as the duvet cover. The toilet seat was disgusting, despite the bowl having cleaner in it. The shower was partially off the wall.
The tea/coffee tray was fine but there were crumbs on the table and rubbish on the floor.
Rubbish behind the bin in the bathroom too.
