Worth a short stay
Pros:

Location perfect for bus. The staff person who spoke multiple languages smiled and was friendly.

Cons:

Flies everywhere while eating. They say on all the food which made eating very unpleasant. The young woman who served us breakfast needs to smile. The room was not serviced and we should have been informed if this was the policy.

Pros:

The Sonne is a family-run hotel in the mountain village of Amden with superb views of the Walensee and the Glarner Alps. The room was very comfortable and made the most of the views by having bi-fold windows across the whole of one side of the room. The bathroom was very good with a powerful shower and plentiful hot water. Breakfast was excellent - a very good selection and more than I could eat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I arrived about 4 hours late but the hotel owner was waiting for me when I finally arrived.

Cons:

The only thing I would mention was that my room was not cleaned every year.

Leuk hotel voor kort verblijf.
Pros:

De mooie kamer. Mooie streek. Mooi uitzicht van op de kamer. Lekker uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Savonds lekker eten.

Cons:

Geen lift, vrij stijle trap.

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff, gorgeous view and tasty food
Pros:

Hotel Sonne had absolutely incredible views and the staff were really friendly. The room was comfortable with a balcony. The food was delicious too!

Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, und super angenehm - alles auf dem Tisch.
Eine Person von uns hat eine Glutenintolleranz. Hat alles super funktioniert beim Frühstück und Nachtessen. Bravo und vielen Dank

Das Bad in unserem Zimmer ist noch nicht renoviert, aber ich glaube es ist geplant

Mittelmäßiges Hotel mit einer schönen Terrasse und super Aussicht.

Die Lage und die Terrasse mit der super Aussicht war top.

Cons:

Beim Fernseher konnte man die CH-Programme nicht sehen, gerade dann als die Schweiz spielte. Steckdose defekt, WC-Sitz uralt mit Löchern. Beim Duschen gibt es ein ohrenbetäubendes lautes Brummen wenn man die Glastüre schliesst (Ventilator). Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Preis-Leistung ist ok aber darf nicht mehr Kosten.
