Beautiful historical building in a unique neighborhood; kept in immaculate condition. Beautiful wood floors. Spacious room and bathroom. Internal restaurant with shady outdoor terrace serving breakfast and dinner. Walkable to all sites in Gross Basel and Klein Basel. Many shops and restaurants within minutes. Tram stop adjacent, out the lower level accessible via internal elevator. Helpful reception.
On unusually hot days, no AC, but fan is provided. Ask for rooms opening onto courtyard for most quiet.

Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Location: it is slightly difficult to get to on foot from the station and taxis are extremely expensive.

All good, remembering this is a small hotel with history.
Excellent location for major museums but almost hidden away in a beautiful, quiet location Modest breakfast, simple continental but very tasty. A fan was provided in the room which was a huge relief in the heat and helped to get a good night's sleep. There's a good lift to the upper floors. Beautiful terrace where meals were served for lunch and dinner. Excellent menu too.

Tolle ruhige Lage, aussergewöhnliche Zimmer, sehr sauber und tolles Personal.
Schönes undzentral gelegenes Hotel, saubere Zimmer, gutes Frühstücksangebot.
Im Zimmer war es trotz Ventilator sehr, sehr heiss. Auch durch die Fenster kam kaum Abkühlung. Ich konnte darum nicht gut schlafen.
War aber diese Tage auch sehr heiss draussen.
Die top Lage für eine Stadtbesichtigung.
Lage ist super, sehr zentral, Die Leute an der Rezeption waren mega freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem super.

Tolle, charmante und geschmackvolle Unterkunft in optimaler Lage. Feines Frühstück mit lokalen Produkten und sehr gutem Brot (darauf lege ich viel Wert)
Mein Zimmer ging auf den Innenhof. Der Restaurantbetrieb bzw das abschliessende Aufröumen ist mit viel Geklapper verbunden. Gerade bei offenem Fenster störend. Vor 11:30 Uhr ist also nicht wirklich Nachtruhe . Das trübt den Aufenthalt.

Hôtel très bien situé dans le centre; personnel attentif; chambre confortable avec vue sur la ville; bon petit déjeuner.
