An elegant and pleasant introduction to the city of Basel.
Pros:

Clean and comfortable, with a very attentive and friendly staff.

Cons:

It was a little out-of-the-way for a place to be picked up by an Uber. I have limited mobility, so that turned out to be an occasional obstacle.

Séjour Très bien
Pros:

Hotel calme dans un coin historique de Bale. Très proche du tramway et des commerces.
Chambre très propre et personnel très accueillant et sympathique.

Emplacement idéal pour une visite de la magnifique ville de Bâle
Pros:

Tout était parfait. Je trouve le prix plutôt élevé... mais c'est la Suisse ! Personnel très accueillant, grande chambre avec une belle vue dégagée sur la vieille ville et la magnifique cathédrale, très bon petit déjeuner. Et l'hôtel dispose d'un accès direct par ascenseur à la place Barfüsser d'où vous pourrez aller dans tous les coins de la ville grâce à un réseau de trams extrêmement pratique. Je recommande vivement.

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, Tee und Café wurden von einer Kellnerin serviert, das Spiegelei habe ich extra bestellt. Auf Anfrage wurde alles prompt zum Tisch gebracht. Gut gefallen hat mir das Ambiente, der Springbrunnen im Hof, der Aufzug von dem Barfüssserplatz und das ausgezeichnete Essen abends in der Brasserie. Nicht ganz billig, aber exzellent. Wir waren sehr lange abends im Speisesaal, was überhaupt kein Problem darstellte. Freundliche Kellner und lockere Umgangsformen.

Cons:

Ich stehe früh auf und hätte mir gewünscht, dass ich etwas früher hätte frühstücken können, jedenfalls vor 7.00 Uhr

Pleasant location, walkable to riverside, shops, old town. Comfortable hotel with excellent customer service with some bonus touches. Restaurant served tasty if a little over priced dinner.

Cons:

Sliding doors to bathroom a bit cumbersome & noisy.

Perfect stay in Basel
Pros:

The reception was extremely accommodating; our cruise had changed docks and she googled & printed directions for us. The restaurant was wonderful with an interesting menu. Rooms were immaculate & the neighborhood was quiet with amazing views. The building was a prison in the distant past; very interesting history with Music Museum next door.

Pros:

Magnifique séjour dans cet hôtel remarquable. Personnel aux petits soins, professionnel, à l'écoute et toujours d'une grande gentillesse. Belle chambre spacieuse, propre, calme et confortable. Petit-déjeuner agréable et de qualité. Situation dans un quartier historique et central, idéal pour visiter Bâle à pied, ou en transports en communs (très pratiques). L'hôtel est également doté d'un restaurant excellent ! Merci pour ce séjour inoubliable. Nous reviendrons certainement.
