Wonderful to find a place that accepts an overnight stay with everything at your fingertips.
Pros:

Lovely property. Thankfully the water fountain noise was blocked out significantly with the doors closed. Beautifully presented room and great bathtub. The additional touches of homebaked bread, fresh eggs, bath salts and high end bath products were great.

Cons:

The coffee was average and only one option for cooking the eggs was limiting. It would have been good to have a check in by 2pm and not 3pm or a later check out considering the expense of the stay and comparison to most other places.

Comfortable and spacious with lots of character and charm
Pros:

Beautifully presented accommodation with loads of space and comfort. Timber fireplace set in a beautiful mantle place takes centre stage in the room.

Cons:

Could do with some extra cutlery. No wine opener and an extra blanket or couch throw wouldn’t hurt either. Loose some of the complimentary mini bar items and include some other breakfast items.

Loved the gorgeous room, serenity and location. The grounds of The Homestead are stunning. So peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast provisions were a wonderful touch. Loved our stay!

Best stay to treat yourself
Pros:

We loved the property itself. The tranquility, the location, the fireplace, the sunrise from bed, the bath….
It was a super peaceful stay in a very beautiful place. House keeping was super nice, with the biggest smile on her face and very helpful.

Cons:

The only suggestion I would make is to have a few more items for breakfast like a bit of cheese or cold meat or yoghurt… just to accompany the delicious freshly baked bread and the eggs from their hens.
