Pros:

Hotel op een fantastische locatie op Ijsland. Mooie kamers, goed ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

Enigste punt voor verbetering is toch de gordijnen. Die zijn onvoldoende om het donker te maken in juni.

Comfortable stay. Could improve in some areas, but good overall.
Pros:

Clean and quiet room. Good and extensive breakfast with nice view.

Cons:

Personal could be more friendly, room was small. There was no elevator to get our luggage to our room which was inconvenient.

Mitten in der Natur mit einzigartiger Aussicht
Pros:

Wer Islands Natur schätzt ist hier perfekt untergebracht: Suite mit Blick auf das gesamte Gletscherpanorama ist sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr gute Betten, wunderbares Frühstück und ein zuvorkommender Staff. Jederzeit wieder!

Beautiful Location
Pros:

This was the second of five Fosshotel's that we stayed in during our visit to Iceland. The hotel is remote with beautiful glacier and mountain views. It would appear that bookings made for dinner are governed by staff availability. This was good as they did not try to overbook. It is advisable to book for dinner. The hotel has a central communal area. If you have disability issues - request a room close to the communal area as the distance to the outer rooms could be a problem. The dinner menu across the Fosshotel's is fairly consistent - lamb, chicken, fish with a few other options. Breakfast in the morning is a buffet and was well presented.

Pros:

We loved the pasture and hills views from all around the property. The rooms were very clean and modern. But most importantly the staff was so kind. They went above and beyond to help us when we had an issue that was no fault of the hotel itself. The employee working through the night at the front desk was the absolute best!

Not my favorite place, there are better selections in Hofn.
Pros:

Mika at front desk was fantastic. Location has beautiful scenery. Breakfast was flat.

Cons:

Bed was comfortable however, the room is in need of a refresh and repair. No hooks to hang towels. No Kleenex, rough toilet paper. Hair dryer kept turning off. Body and Shampoo soap is together. For the price it was not worth the stay.

Schönen Hotel, gute Lage und nettes Personal.

Wunderschöne Landschaft und Aussicht. Freundliches und hilfreiches Personal. Gute Parking, Essen auch gut. Es hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Ruhe in der Nacht ist so angenehm-

Beim Frühstück könnte man sich einen Supervisor vorstellen. Das Personal war unerfahren und einfache Sachen würden vernachlässigt. (Kaffeemaschine warten, Buffet Nachschub, Plaziering auf Buffet nicht so hygienisch etc.)

The location was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and good. Dinner was a little expensive but worth every penny, very good!

The room was very hot and we were told not to open the window, because of some annoying little flies.
