A very comfortable hotel. Great staff. There was a problem with our room and we were immediately moved to another room which was a beautiful upgrade.
We ate at the restaurant and the food was good.
Parking is easy. Our room was very large with a freestanding tub so rather wonderful. The bed was comfortable. It was very quiet also.
Loved having a fire near our table for dinner.
We paid for breakfast and while it was good, it seemed a little meager, with just one rasher of bacon and one sausage. Especially when my husband declined the black pudfing, tomatoe and mushrooms. In other hotels dubstitutes are offered.
While very clean, it didn't feel spotless. Also some of the decor is showing its age with peeling wallpaper and such.
Beautiful large double bedroom, spacious, clean and very comfortable bed. Restaurant food was very good.
No staff were at the check in desk, tried the ring at the front desk with no reply, for 15-20 mins tried searching for someone (there was a wedding happening so everyone seemed to be busy with that). Then again at dinner took 10 mins for someone to turn up to take drinks orders and was super slow. At the end of the evening we waited so long for the bill while 5 members of staff just chatted at the bar, in the end gave up and got up to pay at the bar. Following morning I realised the shower wasn’t working and was only dripping cold water so was unable to shower - fed all this back to a staff member at check out and she seemed completely unbothered. For over £200 for a one night stay expected better.

Very nice location near to Leeds. Wouldn't know the City was that close. Staff were all friendly and the Hotel was quite at night
Little bit dated in places and some small repairs needed
Lovely boutique hotel in pretty grounds. Friendly staff, excellent food, stylish room with comfortable bed.
