Lovely hotel in a great location with helpful staff.
Pros:

Lovely hotel in a great location. The restaurant and inner courtyard are restful and atmospheric. The rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed. And the staff were extremely kind and helpful! It was particularly appreciated that they accommodated our early check-in and then looked after our bags and bikes in their secure area after we had checked out. Highly recommend!

Zentrales Hotel am Dom mit Garten
Pros:

Schönes Zimmer mit Blick zum Dom und in den Hofgarten. Zwei Flaschen Wasser gratis. Sehr zentrale Lage.

Cons:

Kein Kaffee oder Cappuccino im Gartenrestaurant, mit 20€ pro Tag sehr hohe Parkgebühren im ca. 8min entfernten Parkhaus, sehr viel Lärm am frühen Morgen.

Pros:

Sehr helles Eckzimmer mit vielen Fenstern, bequemem Bett, einem Ventilator und modernem Bad. Schöner Innenhof mit Restaurant und im Hotel ein Gemeinschaftsbalkon mit Blick auf den Dom.

Cons:

Morgens war die Nachtruhe leider ab 06.30h vorbei: Müllabfuhr, Glasentsorgung, Lieferungen für das Hotel....nur für Frühaufsteher zu empfehlen.

Gerne wieder - an kühleren Tagen!
Pros:

Die große Freundlichkeit des Personals ist hervorzuheben. Auch das Essen im Restaurant - Biergarten - ist ganz hervorragend. Frühstück hatte ich nicht gebucht, kann ich also nicht beurteilen. Große Weinkarte, leider ist der Sekt von der Kellerei Goldhand nicht mehr auf der Karte.

Cons:

Es waren die extrem heißen Tag in dieser Woche, die ohne Klimaanlage auf den Zimmern kaum noch zu ertragen waren. Die Investition in zu klimatisierende Zimmer ist unabdingbar. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich gerne wieder das Ehrenfels buchen. Wenn aber wiederum so heiße Tage prognostiziert sind, würde ich wegen der fehlenden Klimaanlage davon Abstand nehmen.

Pros:

The location of the hotel was superb with easy access to most places.
The host, Torsten, was extremely helpful and gave us some good suggestions as to where to visit.
The breakfast and restaurant staff were friendly.
The garden was a lovely venue for breakfast.

Cons:

We stayed during the heatwave. One fan in the room was totally inadequate. The offer of cool water was appreciated but was three days into our stay.
The breakfast was adequate, but the only way of having some cheese or salad was to have it in an enormous bread roll. Also all the yogurts every day were natural only. These two things would be easy changes to make.

Cons:

Bei der derzeitigen Hitze wäre eine Klimaanlage der Hit gewesen.
Leider ist bei dem alten Haus eine Nachrüstung kaum möglich

Lovely, quiet, with a good restaurant.
Pros:

Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The facilities were good, and the supplied amenities were quite nice as well.

We were able to eat at the hotel's restaurant just once, and we both wished we could have eaten there another time.
