charming peaceful stay
Pros:

Beautiful small charming Omani style house. Deco is very traditional. It is not a luxury establishment, but a highly cute one and it does well what it suppose to. I loved the bed lined quality, it was really nice /unexpectedly/ - I had worse in better hotels. Choice of an aircon and ceiling ventilator I loved! Overall, I felt and slept very well in this place. I recommend - i'd stay again anytime.

Cons:

The bathroom is separate from the room but this is well known, so no criticism. Suggestion - a little more attention to the bathrooms upkeeping would make them even nicer. They are cleaned but the brass taps need polishing the limescale off.

Authentique et excellent rapport qualité prix
Pros:

La location en plein cœur de Nizwa est exceptionnelle, à peine 5 min à pied du fort et du souk. On est vraiment plongé dans l’authenticité de Nizwa.
L’hôte est très gentil et serviable et est venu nous chercher pour nous guider dans les rues étroites.
Un excellent rapport qualité prix

Bellissimo hotel nel centro storico di Nizwa, clima funzionante (cosa indispensabile) bellissimo porticato con vista, molto autentico

Cons:

Il bagno, comprensibilimente, era un pò rudimentale, con qualche piccola miglioria potrebbe diventrare un 10/10 solido

Great stay in a boutique hotel with historical vibes and views

Pros:

Идеально расположение в старом городе , рядом с фортом. Вокруг много заведений , где покушать , рынок. За свои деньги лучшее предложение . Номер небольшой , но очень аутентичный . Жили на верхнем этаже , красивая приятная терраса. Приятный администратор, помогал во всех вопросах. Вай фай быстрый.

Cons:

Маловато места. Много комаров , но нам помогли их устранить. И пришлось спать без подушек , слишком набитые , неудобно. Но это если придираться . В остальном все замечательно

Nice to be in old town. Amazing helpful staff.

Cons:

Hard to rate this place. Not at all like the pictures. Very very pokey little room. Pretty uncomfortable and run down. Tiny bathroom. I guess it might be normal for the old town.
Extremely difficult to get access through narrow streets. There appeared to be a nice parking area and garden but we were told it could not be used.
The room top area could have been something great. Unfortunately it was not.

Très joli hotel typique bien décoré dans la vieille ville. Le jeune homme qui nous a accueilli est très gentil et serviable. Literie confortable. Parfait !

Cons:

Tout était sympathique. La seule chose serait un peu bruyant en ce qui concerne la chambre du bas sur la petite rue.

A beautifully decorated historic gem in Nizwa, highly recommended for an authentic stay!
Pros:

Staying here was a fantastic experience. The property is beautifully historic and has been decorated with such care and taste. It truly feels like you are stepping back in time but with all the modern comforts you need. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the traditional design makes it one of the nicest places we stayed in Oman.

Cons:

There was honestly nothing to dislike. The stay was smooth from start to finish, and the historic charm of the building more than made up for any minor quirks one might expect from an older, traditional property. Everything was just as we hoped it would be.
