Pros:

La ubicación es muy buena. El barrio genial. Muy agradable y con más hoteles y casas alrededor.Está cerca del metro y de una calle principal dónde puedes encontrar muchas cosas. Se puede ir andando a muchos lugares turísticos. Los amenities están muy bien. Nos daban agua y nos cambiaban las toallas a diario.

Cons:

No es muy espacioso, pero igual es porque éramos 4 personas.

We had kids so being able to experience the traditional tatami was a very good experience as they really enjoyed it

Pros:

No me gustó está horrible no te hacen la cama diario y solo sacan la basura ni limpian el cuarto y cuando hay mucho ruido no fueron y callaron a las personas solo te ponen unos tampones en la puerta para que así no te molesten entre comillas

Muy malo el servicio la gente muy x y la verdad no lo recomiendo si quieres un servicio más limpio no limpiaron la taza del baño toda sucia y hasta aveces ni sacaban la basura me quedé 5 días y fue horrible

Great value for the price. Spacious, serene, clean. Near transportation yet away from the crowds.
Pros:

Lovely location away from the hustle and bustle of Kyoto Station and Gion. Kyoto is overrun with tourist in and around all the "must see" spots. It's nice to be in an area that is only a few blocks from 2 major subway lines and across the street from major bus lines without being in the heart of all the tourist-invaded areas of Kyoto. It's about 10 minutes away from Kyoto station by cab. It's only two subway station stops away from Kyoto Station and the walk to Shijo Station takes only 5 or 6 minutes. The actual subway ride couldn't have taken more than 5 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful. We were on the top floor (5th) and it was very quiet. Major hotels are also nearby so if you're meeting up with friends or family who are staying at the bigger chain hotels it'll be easy to rendezvous with them. Also, you get a lot of space and if you have a third person who doesn't mind sleeping on the couch, the hotel allows for 3-person stays at no extra charge.

Cons:

Staff is available from 9 am to 10 pm. This works well for most things, but if you need to say call a cab early in the morning, you're on your own. You can contact the desk by phone, if you have a phone and phone plan that can dial direct to a Japanese number. There is no landline intra-hotel phone in the room. However, you can email the staff directly if you have some kind of problem with your accommodations (of course going to the lobby and talking directly to them works well!).
