The hotel refused to let the guest leave the hotel for a work appointment, keeping the guest locked in the premises. Over an issue that should have beenn discussed with company the guest worked for who made the booking. The director in charge called the reception to assure that the issue is being sorted but they still refused, using security to keep the guest locked in. The police almost had to be called to have the guest released, fortunately the staff in charge got to the hotel to sort out the payment issue.

The reservation / and follow up from hotel was good.
The location was reasonably convenient, although the property’s description made it seem closer to key areas than it actually was.
My main concern was the service experience. Upon arrival, late at night, check-in took longer than expected, with a delay of about 5 -10 minutes after identity was confirmed at the front desk without communication on the reason for the delay.
The dining experience was similarly inconsistent. After placing an order, I received a call from the kitchen advising that an item initially believed to be available had in fact been out of stock since earlier in the day. The meal eventually arrived close to an hour after it was ordered.
While none of these issues were major in isolation, together they created a poor experience. For a hotel positioned in a prime area of Lagos, I expected a more seamless and well-coordinated guest experience. I hope the team can improve coordination and service delivery, as the property itself has potential.
I liked the location and the overall surroundings. The room was good for the rate.
I had to call several times for housekeeping to come tidy up the room
