A great overnight stay on our walking break. Thoroughly enjoyed evening meal and breakfast.

I wish we had been staying for more than one night
Pros:

Our room was large, modern and luxurious. The bathroom was amazing. We had a bath and a modern shower. Breakfast had a fantastic selection. The pub is right on the main street of the town. We had dinner as well, it was delicious. The bar had a great selection.

Excellent for absolutely everything
Pros:

Absolutely everything.The staff couldn't of done anymore for us.The room was big with the comfiest bed.Drinks tray well stocked.Large bathroom with toiletries & bath & shower.Big enough wardrobe for clothes & to put suitcase away.Cleanliness was immaculate.The view was outstanding.Excellent for our doggies too.Bteakfast was amazing & service was outstanding with great characteristics from Karen.

Cons:

Not that I didn't like it but the front room at night is noisy from the outside as we had the windows open & it's on the main street but it didn't bother us.

Fantastic place with friendly staff and excellent food.
Pros:

Sarah went above and beyond to help us feel settled. The room was really clean and comfortable and the food was excellent and they even let us takeaway the breakfast as my wife does not like to eat first thing in morning.

Pros:

The room was clean and spacious. The evening meal was exceptional. A good atmoshere and helpful and friendly staff.

Cons:

Breakfast. Poor service; The waiter was slow and spent more time laughing and chatting in the kitchen than checking on the customers. Tasted good, cooked well but portion size did not compare favourably to the other two places we stayed at.

Pros:

We had a lovely big room with a big bathroom and two windows. Beds were good, too.
The food was simply delicious. You have a great choice of various breakfast dishes. In the evenings we always ate there and worked our way through the menu. All the dishes were outstanding and we really enjoyed everything. Especially the pies were truly original and so good!
Will definitely call again when in the area.

Cons:

No parking on site, but it was no problem to find a space in the Main Street in Hawes.

Weekend break
Pros:

In the centre of Hawes. The staff are brilliant. Can’t do enough for you. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean. Food in the restaurant is amazing, we ate there for 3 night. Sunday lunch was superb.

Cons:

Nothing not to like. I cannot praise it enough.
