Fabulous hotel, very well maintained with a colour co-ordinated bedroom. Shower powerful and easily adjusted temperature dial.
Menu was excellent and not just our meals, but the others I saw were not just quality, but quantity too - which meant I couldn't fit in a pudding!
A good choice of real ales - all well kept.
All of the staff were not just professional but friendly too.
The views from Room 1 over the hills was spectacular.
The only flaw and it's a tiny one ... is the lack of cushions in the bar/restaurant. We had our meal at 7pm and by 9pm fancied another drink but all of the chairs were plain wooden which eventually became bum numbing.
The White Hart looks as if it has had a fairly recent refurbishment as everywhere looks very fresh and clean and modern. Room 1 is cozy but the en suite shower room is spacious and stylish. The room overlooks the rear of the property so is quiet with a view overlooking the hill to the north. It is also possible to open the window which was vital in the heatwave. The breakfast was excellent, very nicely cooked and using good quality ingredients. The young woman on duty was delightful - very smiley and helpful.
I'd eaten dinner elsewhere but once back, fancied something sweet but the deserts all seemed very pricey so didn't bother. The bedside light is not really bright enough to read by.
We especially liked that it was a comfortable hotel on the Pennine Way and that the accommodated us with a very nice early breakfast.
Nothing
We enjoyed a friendly Yorkshire welcome at The White Hart, Hawes. Our room was pleasingly furnished and spacious, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom spotless and newly fitted. Breakfasts were plentiful, amazingly good and served with friendly good humour each morning by the lovely Karen who made sure everything was to our liking.
We dined here both nights of our stay, the food was rather delicious and well presented with a good range of choice on the menu. Wine was good too and the staff attentive and friendly. Our little dog was made very welcome too.
We’d highly recommend a visit to The White Hart 👍🏼
Quirky old building with good decor
Rooms on the small side but met our needs
Was spot on. Breakfast was very good.
Nothing
Our room was spacious and well decorated. The old fireplace was beautiful. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the shower was good. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The lady who served us breakfast was a character and had us laughing first thing in the morning. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We had dinner on Saturday night too and it was exceptional especially the croquetas was shared as a starter. The young man who served us dinner was a delight.
Everything was great.
Great Breakfast, everything was great, couldn’t ask for anymore
Nothing
Very friendly staff; on site restaurant served well presented and contemporary food with the pub well supported by locals
All good
Great pub in great location and the food (evening meal & breakfast) was exceptional. Compliment to all the staff!
Unsure about car parking situation in Hawes.
The property was very tastefully decorated
The bar and eating area were very well laid out.
There wasn’t really anything I disliked
We were welcomed by Elissa and she and her husband were very friendly. The room was spacious and exceptional. The food was amazing and our waitress Grace was very thoughtful and wonderful.
The staff could not have been more helpful, particularly with regard to looking after our only means of transport, pedal cycles
The weather was awful but countrywide at the time
Good food
Friendly
No information
Too noisy music

The two girls of the staff were really exceptional
