Pros:

It was nice & quiet - and there's a small bakery shop onsite.

Cons:

The room was too small and there was no place to put our stuff without tripping over it.

Pros:

Our stay at White Moose was truly unforgettable, but what made it exceptional was the incredible kindness and generosity of Mr. David, the owner.

We visited Denali right at the end of the season, when almost all third-party transportation and tour services had already closed. We had plans to visit Denali National Park, but we did not have a rental car or transportation arranged. We honestly did not know how we were going to make our plans work.

Then Mr. David stepped in.

At 76 years old, he is one of the kindest and most generous people we have ever met. After hearing about our situation, he personally dropped us off in the morning so we could catch our Denali bus tour. He also kept our checked baggage safely with him for the entire day.

What touched us even more was what he did that evening. He traveled all the way back from Healy to the Denali bus depot just to pick us up and then drove us to the train depot so we could continue our journey.

He never asked us for anything in return. Even when we offered him money for all the driving and help, he refused to accept it.

Without Mr. David, we genuinely don't know how our Denali plans would have worked out. His kindness turned what could have been a very stressful day into one of the most memorable experiences of our Alaska trip.

Mr. David is truly a wonderful human being with a heart of gold. ❤️

If you're planning a trip to the Denali area, we highly recommend staying at White Moose. Beyond having a place to stay, you may also get the opportunity to meet and say hello to this wonderful man.

Thank you, Mr. David, for everything you did for us. We will remember your kindness long after we leave Alaska.

Very comfortable, manager was very responsive. Very close to driving to Denali national Park.
Pros:

Moose lodge was very clean and the beds are super comfortable. Very nice probably on Hotel. Flowers were wonderful touch.

Cons:

The property was very well taken care of there were a couple of minor maintenance things that could’ve been better

Close to Denali
Pros:

Good location only 15 minutes to Denali NP and a lot cheaper. Basic kitchen facilities, enough to heat and eat. Comfortable beds.
