Top notch place to stay in Lienz and we're glad to found it!
Pros:

Exceptional location, owner, staff, facilities, bar, patio, and breakfast. Really had it all but a swimming pool! Room was spacious and lots of closet space. Close to castle and easy walk to old town.

Cons:

Needed a fan in the room. Was hot and stuffy the day we stayed. We couldn't really leave windows and curtains open for air flow because the building next to room could look right into our room. This is a perpetual problem in Europe to me - no fans, and windows with no screens so bugs come in. Boggles my mind everywhere I go there.

This is a fantastic little place run by the nicest lady. A-class service, and great value. We only stopped for one night, but would love to come back again when there is more time.
