歩いては行けない。

駅から真っ直ぐ歩いていけると思ったが、幹線道路が邪魔し大きく迂回しなければならなかった。翌日はタクシーで駅に向かった。

Comfortable stay but misunderstandings on the way
Pros:

Room was spacious and clean. They have offered us free breakfast

Cons:

No English at the desk.
It's indeed close to the train station but not as close as they write to be - more like a km away.
They have charged us a bit more than the agreed price claiming that because it was in Euro there has been an conversion fee of something..we agreed to pay it eventually but this didn't happen to any of the other 4 accommodations we had booked elsewhere within China.
We have also booked for 3 adults and it turns out we got 2 big single beds instead..

Our stay at Fairfield by Marriott
Pros:

I initially selected this hotel purely because it was close to the Xi'an North Train Station as we had a train to catch the next afternoon. The hotel was clean, had air con, and sufficient linen and towels.

Cons:

Dissapointed in the buffet breakfast, as the selection was more around Asian cuisine. I would have loved some bacon, eggs, spaghetti or baked beans. Also the tile in our shower was cracked and roughly repaired with sealant exposed. Bed was firm and hard.

Pros:

We liked the hotel very much, but there is a problem with the accessibility on foot.

Cons:

The hotel seems very close to the railwaystation, but it's not because of the highway you have to cross. There are no guidelines how you can reach the hotel on foot.
May I ask the hotel to publish on their website the directions one has to follow when walking from the railwaystation to the hotel?

Man fühlt sich unsicher und alles wirkt lieblos und abweisend. Zu wenig Beleuchtung

Das Zimmer ist groß und geräumig

Cons:

In den Gängen ist alles finster und dunkel, die Rezeption spricht kein Wort englisch und das bei einer internationalen Hotelkette
Der Frühstücksraum ist eine Frechheit, erinnert an ein kommunistisches arbeiterheim.
Dunkelheit herrscht auch vor dem Hotel, alles sehr abweisend, kurz vorm zusperren, sehr komische Leute, bin mir nicht sicher ob das alles Hotel Gäste waren

Is a hotel in huge tall building , reception at the bottom floor and room at level 35

Pros:

The room is large, has a nice breakfast, and is conveniently accessible to the metro station and train. There is a market which is closed to the hotel. You can purchase veggies in the morning or to taste regional cuisine during night market.

Cons:

The wifi is quite slow. The room is hot, the air conditioner isn't working, and the window won't open. I ultimately fell asleep near the window.
