Am stat in septembrie la Hotel Stratos din Afitos și, per total, experiența a fost decentă. Am ales hotelul cu așteptări realiste, fără să mă aștept la lux.
Camera a fost în regulă, deși mobilierul și interiorul sunt puțin învechite. In camera era aer condiționat, însă acesta pornea destul de greu. Un plus au fost roletele, care ajutau la păstrarea răcorii în cameră. Curățenia se făcea zilnic, prosoapele se schimbau o dată la două zile, iar produsele de baie erau completate periodic. În schimb, zona dușului ar necesita mai multă atenție la curățenie sau renovare.
Micul dejun a fost decent, dar mi-ar fi plăcut mai multă varietate, în special la preparatele calde, care mi s-au părut predominant prăjite. De asemenea, începea abia la ora 8:00; o oră de începere mai devreme ar fi fost ideală pentru cei care vor să ajungă dimineața la plajă.

Deși distanța afișată până la plajă este de aproximativ 600 m, hotelul fiind situat sus, traseul presupune coborârea mai multor scări. Acestea sunt accesibile, dar drumul durează aproximativ 20 de minute într-un ritm normal, iar la întoarcere trebuie urcat.
Un punct pozitiv a fost personalul. Anastasia m-a ajutat să găsesc exact niște căsuțe din sat pe care le văzusem în fotografii, dar a căror locație nu reușeam să o gasesc. Mi-a explicat concret unde se află, era foarte amabila si placuta.

De asemenea, am beneficiat de transfer cu taxiul de la aeroport, ceea ce a fost un plus pentru organizarea călătoriei.

În concluzie, este o opțiune bună de luat în considerare pentru cei care caută o cazare simplă și petrec mai mult timp explorând zona. Cu careva îmbunătățiri experiența ar putea fi și mai bună.

Cons:

Un inconvenient a fost lipsa liftului: a trebuit să-mi urc singură valiza pe aproximativ 10 trepte până la cameră, lucru deloc comod după drum.

A lovely hotel, highly recommended
Pros:

Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. Great location only a couple of minutes walk to the centre of the village and 10 minutes to the beach. Spotlessly clean. Lovely pool area.
